Lighting for a tent?

A friend of mine is getting married next summer. They are having an outdoor wedding, with the reception in a tent. Any suggestions for what to do for lighting in the tent? I've suggested candles or those paper lanterns, but she doesn't like either of those ideas. I can't seem to think of anything else that would work. :shrug2:

Is she renting the tent? If she is maybe the rental place has lighting she could also rent.

She might also be able to get some cheap Christmas lights after Christmas.

More of a "mood lighting" option is luminaries. You can see some pics in the following posts:

These pics don't do them justice, however. And they are a simple (but a tad piddley) little project that is uber cheap, especially if you get your candles at Hobby Lobby with coupons. Let me know if you need the how-to. :)

The Christmas lights is also a nice touch, but may require quite a few strands of lights to provide any amount of light worth mentioning.
