Here's what it looks like when guests open the invite:

Here's a closeup of the invitation:

The mapcard:

This is all color coded: different types of roads get different colors. Interstate=red, State highways = blue, etc. etc.
The RSVP. At the last minute I decided to make the "RSVP" hunter green:

Wonderful job! Love the Ivy. Did that come pre printed or did you do that yourself? Love the insides also!

Thanks everyone!

Jaci - I know you're busy. . . It's just that I can never quite resist the temptation to tease you a bit. . . :devilheee: :hug99:

Did that myself with lots of help. Here's the inspiration photo:

The original plan was to stick close to the inspiration. But. . . Jaci (from here) found the strand of ivy for a different project (our ivy bookmarks) and I started thinking about ways to incorporate the ivy into other DIY projects. After lots and lots of trials and lots and lots of feedback (from people who were really patient with every possible combination I could make) I finally chose one.

Thanks, Heather!

Thanks! The script font is called "Sheer Grace." I think I found it at http://www.dafont.com The other font is "Carlton LET." I have no idea where I found that one. It may have been pre-installed on my computer.

Thanks, NJ. Kari inspired me (in her very 1st pre-pre-crash UW Journal) to do something with plain DIY invites. I do like how they came out.

We're going to do the same thing for the announcements, but instead of the RSVP card we'll include a wedding photo.
