Back from sailing on the Carnival Glory - Pics and More!

Brendan and I had such a great time on our honeymoon cruise 7/15 - 7/22. We set sail from Port Canavral in FL on the 15th and were pleasantly surprised because our room had been upgraded and we were VIP passengers. Which meant we go to board the ship before everyone else!!! Here is a picture of the ship:

The weather was gorgeous the first day there and we sat out and waved to all the people at the pier. We also had fun on our balcony just staring at the water.

We spent a day at sea and that night was formal night at dinner. We were given free cocktails and got to mix and mingle with some new friends at dinner.

Port 1 - Cozumel

Ok so we went 'Radio Power Snorkeling' but being that I had never been snorkeling before my camera kinda got left on the beach because there were too many other things to carry!!! But here is a picture of the ocean, me on the pier, and brendan at our post snorkeling lunch at senor frogs. :)

Port 2 - Belize

This place was so fun! We went cave tubing - which was scary but quite the experience. We took a 45 minute hike through the rainforest and then floated down a river in a tube spending a good 20 minutes in a pitch black cave with lights to find our way through:

Port 3 - Costa Maya

This may have been my favorite port. (This may have something to do with the fact that Brendan bought me a gorgeous tanzanite and dianmond ring here) :hehe: This was a more laid back day for us. We went to the Mayan ruins in Costa Maya which was really amazing to learn about and see.

Port 4 - Nassau

We didn't plan any 'excursions' provided by the cruise line so we went on our own to the hotel Atlantis and took the guided tour through their aquarium. It was VERY cool and we spent some of the time wondering if we should've gone there for our honeymoon instead!! :heee: But it was very crowded - so I think we were happy with what we chose, it was nice to leave the crowds after a few hours.

These two glass sculptures in the casino are amazing! They are both handblown glass - one is the 'sun' and one is the 'moon'

That's about it! We had an awesome time, but we're also glad to be home!
