Did your FH keep wanting to add people to the guest list AFTER invites had gone out?

Did anyone's FH keep wanting to add people to the guest list long AFTER invitations were out and RSVPs were supposed to be in?

FH keeps coming to me with "We really need to invite X? Can I still do it?" even though the wedding is less than two weeks away?

Actually, he's only done this with two people... One has been deployed in Afghanistan and it's kinda iffy as to when/if he'll be back in time (his term is almost up and he's injured) and the other person is this guy's mother. They're the type who probably aren't going to be upset about being invited last minute but I wish FH had thought about this a little earlier!

actually I am the one who keeps sending out more invitations.. We have like 8 left. I want to keep ONE and want to find people to invite to use the rest.

I have sent out like 5 more invitations since we intitally mailed all :) But our guest list will still be under 50 people so I'm not concerned :)

No, Momzilla keeps adding people though. I think it's annoying, too. We've been planning this wedding for 1.5 years and *now* is the time you think to remember your Cousin So-and-so should be invited to the wedding??

Yes the day before the wedding two people were added to the list. Luckily we had extra food and two people did not show up but that nearly tipped bride over the edge.

Nope. Once the list was done, it was DONE. We invited one person after it went out, to save the whinging, pleading, and general manipulation, and I regret that totally.
