A friend of mine was not willing to post her wedding photos on the internet, but she was willing to share the vendors that she used, because she loved all of them!
She and her husband were married in June 2008 at The Westin Chicago North Shore (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/westin/property/meetings/index.html?propertyID=1724), in Wheeling, Illinois. They held their ceremony and reception at the same location, which saved money on transportation, and the reception was catered by the hotel's kitchen.
Their cake was from Rolf's Patisserie (http://rolfspatisserie.com/)in Lincolnwood, Illinois. Here are a few examples of their wedding cakes:

Millefiori, (http://www.millefioriflorist.com/) from Evanston, Illinois, provided the flowers and decorations, and my friend said the reception was absolutely gorgeous, as were all of the bouquets and boutenierres.
Aside from the venue and photography, their other splurge was their DJ, and they used MDM Entertainment (http://www.mdmentertainment.com/), a Chicago based DJ service. My friend and her husband were very pleased with their choice.
