What point in the reception are going to have your bridal party give toasts? I just noticed that I have NO IDEA where to put in in the schedule of things?

I can't see my sister doing a toast and pretty sure she would will NOT.. (MOH)
and not sure Chad will do one either.. If he does that great, if not then thats okay too :)
So if it doesn't happen, thats okay. :)
Did you post this just before you asked me? Or was my answer not good enough ;)
Anyways, I always see the toasting done after the head table is finished eating, usually before the cake cutting and serving.

We are going ours during dessert before giving away the centrepieces and the dancing. We are doing the cake cutting right before dinner.

entrance, first dance, prayer, dinner, father's toast, father/bride dance, mother/groom dance... shoot... I can't remember when the best mans toast is... I think it's before the cake cutting or after... can't remember.

This makes the most sense to me as well. A toast is something you do before people begin drinking and eating, so it makes sense to do it prior to the meal, but after the blessing. We won't probably do formal introductions - we won't have a DJ, and everyone knows who we are already. :)

I've been told that the toast is done after you finish your meal but before dessert is served.

We're having our emcee do the introductions, and then perhaps his speech then, followed by grace before dinner. Then if there are other speeches, I would like them after dinner, before dessert :)

I was a MOH in a wedding where the toasts were done right away, after the introductions. It might even have been after the first dance, I don't quite remember. Since I did a speech I definitely liked getting it out of the way so I could enjoy my meal. I was stressing out majorly on how well I would do, if I would mess up or make a fool of myself. In the end everything turned out fine. I even got compliments from the guests and the best man was glad he went first!

I like the idea of getting them done right after introductions and before Dinner. Just get them done and over with! Like Sabby12's suggested. :) sorry I dont know your name.
