Using favor boxes

Ok, so I am throwing an anniversary party. I have these super cute favor boxes that double as place cards. I have found these mints that are the size of m&m's. Do I need to put the mints in a bag before putting them in the box or can I just put them directly in the box?

All the favors I've ever had in boxes, like M&ms and candy have never been in a bag... just in the box :)

We had mints in a tin for our favours, and we didn't use a bag. :)

i would think the bag would only be for if you thought they would melt and stick to the box or bleed color through or something.... otherwise, plain box should be fine.

If you wanted some color you could always have some tissue paper :)
