Hello!!!

I really like the idea of the big I DO letters on the table, I think that is very cute!

If you used these, where did you get them?

Also, thought this would be a good place to post photos of letters used in all sorts of ways around the cake, on top of the cake, written on the cake - what have you.

I painted my tablecloth with our monogram and date in our main wedding color.

I copied the R from a word document on to a transparency and then used an overhead to "blow" it up. I traced it and then handpainted it.

My bouquet ribbon I had embroidered. A woman on the knot did it for me and it was one of those "I have to" haves

Everyone's cake tables look so nice :)

He's going to do it as two words connected on the bottom with a light stain, and I'm going to hang them on the walls in our home when the wedding is over. It's like saying "Cheers!"

We are going to spell out FOREVER on our cake table. My dad is cutting out the letters for me so that the font will match our invites/programs/etc.

Liza, we can make your letters happen...just pick out what you want to say. A topper for the cake would be beautiful with the roses. I know the wooden letters are available at craft stores, but if you want your invite monogram cut out I may be able to get my uncle to jigsaw it. Just a thought.

Fizbobunny, the red table is stunning and elegant. I may steal your ideas to dress up some future tables. Thanks for the inspiration.

I have no pictures of mine yet..but I bought 3 plain BIG wood letters at walmart. (I DO) I will paint them when I figure out what color I need them to be.

We did "Always" and bought the letters at Hobby Lobby and painted them ourselves! We're planning on hanging them up somewhere in the apartment :)

We are using I DO.
I used white letters from Michael's and found a product called something like Clear Beadz. They are beads that come in all sorts of colours (I bought clear) in a pot and are mixed with glue. You use a popsicle stick to smear the beads on the surface and let dry. I wanted more coverage so I used 2 pots per letter. They look awesome in person.

We spelled out "AT LAST" (the song we danced to, the Etta James version). Got our letters at JoAnns and spray painted them ourselves.

Like many others, we're going to hang the letters in the house (somewhere) around our photo matte guest book.

I bought wooden letters to spell out "I DO" and painted them red. Then a week before my wedding, I bought these from Tanya to use in my wedding.

I used the I DO letters next to the food and the LOVE letters on the head table.

Liza..I like your sign better..

Mine was NEW but was made to have an "aged" look :) I bought mine a week before the wedding. I think someone else on here had the same sign :)

That was me :)

I found mine about two weeks before the wedding, and cried like a baby when I saw it. It was on the clearance shelf at Home Goods. DH was so sweet about it, he just gave me a hug and asked me if I had to have it. hehehe

I just wish I had remembered to use it. But it hangs in my Florida room over the front door to the house, so I still love it.

I kept my sign off my cake table and it sits on top of a bookcase in the living room.

The "I DO" letters and "LOVE" letters were sold after the wedding.

I just bought my letters. I got I DO (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/notoriousnikki69/IMG_1310.jpg) and LOVE (http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y184/notoriousnikki69/IMG_1309.jpg) letters. I will be putting LOVE on the entrance table and I DO either on the cake table or on the table that fh and I will be sitting at. They are just white letters that I bought at Micheals. I am going to paint them blue and silver. Blue on the top and silver on the edges. I think that will look sharpe.
