A friend of mine just got engaged (yay! a new wedding to help plan!) and she's thinking of pink peonies or hydrangea in February. I don't think either of these flowers will be in season at that time, right? I'd like to be able to provide her with some alternatives that *will* be. The wedding will be in Miami, if that makes a difference.
Thanks resourceful ladies!

I understand gardenias are in season all year, and they are big full flowers. Does anyone know if they come in pink?

Okay, I'm answering my own questions:
Sweet Peas:

Tuberose, too, but I hate how they smell...although it's not actually my wedding, LOL!

And the ever gorgeous ranunculus:

Peony and Hydrangea won't be available in February. The Hydrangea is in March. Gardenias don't come in pink, however a good site is http://www.freshroses.com/ they list availability for flowers.
Another alternative is a good quality silk flower you can mix them with fresh flowers as well as foliage.
February is a Holiday month so flowers will be quite pricey then.
