Monogram for aisle runner... help please!!!!

Okay so I am having serious issues deciding which design to go with on our aisle runner!!!! We have determined that the "C" will be in gold and either the initials or our names will be in a dark green and then the date will be in either the same green or a shiny purple. Which design do you like best and think would like the best on an aisle runner....


The spacing will also be a little more spread out I just had to try and get them all on one sheet for the computer :)

Okay, for some reason when I glanced at the title of this thread, I thought it said Mamogram. And I couldn't figure out for the life of me why you needed help with your mamogram. Then I remembered that I'm an idiot and it is monogram. :disbelief:

I think I have narrowed it down between #2 and #4 - with leaning a little more towards #4 and I will tell you why... I am a freak about symmetry and my name is so much longer that Evan's and #4 is very symmetrical - everything is centered :shrug: I have some more time to decide so all other advice and what and why you like what is much appreciated :biggrin:

I say if you are going for simple, go for the first one. It's beautiful and it is the one that "looks" the most like you. :twocents:

:lol: its okay as soon as I read your comment I scrolled back up to make sure I spelled "monogram" correctly :laugh3:

I am not necessarily going with the want of "simple" just symmetrical... its a wedding, it doesnt necessarily have to be simple. I just dont want it lop-sided :giggle:

ETA: Also, I like the second one more than the first because I am also scared that the first one would get "lost" on the runner. The runner is going to be so wide and I dont want it to look too small (or make the text so big that it fill the space but looks stupid). So do you think I am a little :crazy: yet???

keeping in mind your comment about an unsteady hand - i think simpler will be a wiser option for you to have it look fabulous....

I agree. If you are worried about the symmetricalness of (WHOA! I spelled that huge word right the first time!!!) it, then go with 4. It looks great on Amanda's runner. Other than 4, I love 1 since it only has your initials.
