Interesting, though after reading the article, I'm not all that surprised. The economy really is affecting everyone. I don't think those who would otherwise consider Vera Wang would look to David's Bridal, but I know many brides with a David's Bridal budget who'd LOVE a Vera Wang gown!

I think this is exciting! I think brides are becoming more financially conscious! The rise in destination style weddings indicates that the super duper extravagent wedding phase is starting to become a little passé!

I think this will boost Vera Wang AND David's as well as offering some new, amazing style options for lower income brides! Everybody wins!
