ok - so i'm not quite sure how to get started on this whole diet thing - every time i do start, i end up failing - and this month probably wasn't the best time to start -
today is the first day of musikfest - this huge music and food party in bethlehem - next week i'll practically be living at the thing - while there are a few healthy foods there - emphasis on "a few" - it's going to be difficult - tooooo many temptations - the huge mug of beer for $3 won't be helping matters either

and then the last week of august is the west end fair - another bad place for food - and i'm usually there atleast 2 nights - this is going to be tough - soooooo - as much as i hate the idea of it - i'm going to have to keep track of EVERYTHING i eat at these places - even the funnel cake and strudel that i will hate to admit :)

so, i'll get started with what i had yesterday and then go from there

the hardest part of this whole dieting thing is that i can't just skip meals, or shrink certain meals down too much - i work as a painter right now, so i need to have more to eat during the days that i work, then on my days off (like today and yesterday) -

i also have blood sugar problems - there is a very fine line about the amount i need to eat, and when - and if i don't follow it, i get to a point where i just about pass out - so far i haven't passed out, but only b/c i eat something immediatly

so then there is the exercise part - i need to get better with that - basically the only exercise i get is at work - by the time i get home, i don't want to move - the fact that it's been over 90 for a long time doesn't help matters

so i definatly need to work on that - the bordom of living in this apartment doesn't help - back at my parent's house, i had the dog to walk, and gardens to take care of, and a bigger house to clean - here - nothing

I wish you the best of luck!

And I just had to say that you brought back tons of memories at the mention of musikfest :) Remember that I went to college at Moravian so musikfest and Celtic Classic were huge!
