We were together for about 3 years before we got engaged, but I knew pretty quickly I was going to marry him.

I knew we were going to get married after day 1 actually. I had a dream about it and just knew, but we didn't start talking about it until after we moved in together at about a year. At about 2 1/2 years he asked.

We were together almost 7 years before we got engaged and I probably knew 2-3 years in that I was going to end up marrying him. We started dating when we were quite young so it took me a little while to realize that he was going to be 'the one' :)

i knew before we became official he was the one for me, we picked out my ring about 7 months in and he proposed right around a year.

We met online January 2004. We met in person for the first time in May of that year when I came to Reno to spend a week with him. When I got back to MN, the first thing I said to my friend who picked me up at the airport was, "I'm going to marry that man someday." :sappy:

I moved to Reno September of that year, and he proposed in May 2005.

I knew he was the one around 4/5 years of us being together. We were engaged around 6 years.

Doug started talking about getting married after about 6 months but said that he refused to do anything till we had been together for a full year, which was fine with me. We officially got engaged with a ring at 18 months.

I was young, but knew pretty soon that he was the one. He asked me to marry him 2 years after we started dating. We had talked about it a lot before that, but that's when we happened to be at the beach :giggle:.
