My youngest son is getting married this coming December and I told them I'd help with the wedding in finding ways to stay in budget. The flower place I've used in the past has gone up alot on their prices so I'm on the look out for alternatives. They don't want traditional "winter/christmas" flowers or look so going to the store and getting bundles of flowers isn't really a safe option to me.
Anyways I went looking and like the fact that I can order per stem to get more of a variety in color since she's looking at mainly carnations. I will be doing the flowers and decor to save money.
This is the site I'd like to know about http://www.bunchesdirect.com/
also I'm open to other sites as well.
Thanks!

Thanks Diane, I'll check them out.
I've used rosesource and I can find the name of the place my BFF just used for her carnations.
The flowers were really beautiful, the only problem was that she ordered purple and ended up with a few different variations of purple. It worked out just fine (we just made sure they were spread out to each bouquet). We did find that one of the bunches of purple was weaker among the joints so we ended up with lots of random flower heads but because they were so cheap she had at least five EXTRA flower arrangements throughout the church because she ordered so many.

She just grabbed a dozen roses to add to her bouquet at a store in town.

Jaci- Those are beautiful! I'd love the name of the site if you find out. The good thing about her doing varing shades of pink is I can get away with varied flowers a bit easier :)
Thanks for sharing!
Finally got it for you! http://www.bridesign.com/Wedding-Flowers_4/Wedding-Flowers-Bulk-Flowers-Carnations
a friend of mine makes bouquets/centerpieces as a part time job and they are always beautiful. here is her advice:
Most of the flowers that don't come from the farmers market actually come from Whole Foods! Some will even help you order something specific. Prices are comparable or better then wholesalers, and you can get many types fair trade or rainforest safe. Fiftyflowers.com is pretty good for big orders, costco also will help w special orders, even if it is something they don't usually carry.
