The 3rd BM just had a miscarriage and is trying to getting pregnant ASAP so may or may not be able to make it. The FG is her daughter and the other usher is her husband, so we'll have to wait and see. She was originally in, then got pregnant and due too close to the wedding date to travel, and now is either in/out. It'll be a last minute addition if she can make it. I'm not replacing the three of them no matter what though.

So with us we have 17 people in our BP. I always feel really stupid when I say I have that many people in there, but we had some issues. First, one of the BMs and two of the GMs were originally ushers, and another BM was a personal attendent, but when FH had one GM move to Korea and one go MIA for months, only to finally find out that he was going to have to work the weekend of the wedding, we had to do something. We then asked his sister to step up and be a groomswoman, but then I really wanted my brothers in the party, but FH didn't want to feel like a "loser" because only his and my family is on his side, and he did have some friends from high school he wanted to ask, unfortunately, he wanted to ask three of them! He couldn't decide between all three, so we made his sister a BM for me (which is perfectly fine with me, I love his sister!), my brothers groomsmen, and he asked all three guys to be in the party, and they said yes. Then to even it out a little I asked my PA who I really wanted in the party anyways.

Officially we are still one short on the ladies side, but I have it all worked out.

The only thing is I have to think about additional cost of flower for GM, bouquet for maid, and BP gifts...but, I think its worth it

I really don't think the # of guests should dictate your bridal party (just have enough ushers/groomsmen for guests). Other than that, go ahead and ask who you want in your bridal party!

I have seen some really big bridal parties and it looks beautiful!

I refused to put anyone in the WP that I was no best of friends with and through the years only one girl has always been there so we are having a MOH and my FH is having his father as his BM and that is it! We will have about 120 people at the ceremony. FH's brothers (2) are the ushers.
