FH & I bought some toasting glasses for the head table that we want to give to them. The glasses will be on the head table when we come in so we want to let them know that the glasses are theirs to take home. I was going to print up a poem and attach it to the glass but I'm having a hard time coming up with a poem.
This is all I have so far:
This glass is yours hereafter
To remind you of the joy & laughter
A day well spent
with ladies & gents
I wanted to say something about them standing by our side and being friends that are there for each other, but I can't write poetry when I'm forcing it... it has to just come out or not at all.
Thanks for any and all help you guys. :happysigh:

Celebrating our love ever after
or
As we live happily ever after

Keep this glass forever
To remind you of time together
A day well-spent
with ladies and gents,
and friendships to never be severed

I like this one...
This glass is yours hereafter
To remind you of the joy & laughter
A day well spent
with ladies & gents
Celebrating our love ever after
The happily ever after doesn't flow right with me? Too many syllables or something?
