mrrr, my husband is from Hanover! Did you go to Hanover College or are you from there?

mrrr
08-04-2006, 02:14 PM
No, I just lived there for a bit. I'm actually a WI native, but moved to IN a few years ago. My sis has been living in Madison for many years and that's what brought me to the area. Hanover College is lovely.

Ah, I understand that, I'm a MA native who moved to Indiana 5 years ago! My husband has lived in Indiana his entire life.

It's funny. People find my "northern" accent amusing and when I visit home they say I sound "twangy"! I don't fit in anywhere now!

Aubrey

People at home tell me I have a slight Indiana accent now; ironically, I don't have a touch of the stereotypical New England accent, so people out here never know I'm originally from the east coast. I don't really fit in anywhere anymore either!

I'm not getting married in Indiana, but I went to school at RHIT and that's where my future hubby and I met. I have several friends getting married in Indiana next year - one in South Bend, one in Indy, two in Terre Haute. I'll have to recruit them to join MLW!

Welcome Stacy!!

I can't wait to see your plans unfold! Have you thought about starting a planning journal yet?

MalibuStacy1982
07-07-2008, 08:35 AM
I sure have, i keep track of all of my wedding idea's on my Xanga. I also have a page set up for us on theknot.com. Actually i have so many different pages set up for us i've probably forgotten half of them! How terrible. haha

Can you help me out with how to use this one though? i'd like to upload a picture for you all but have no idea where to do that. i'm afraid i have to become a paying member and thats just not in the budget (as i'm sure you can imagine!) Thanks in advance!

Hey Stacy, everything here at MLW is completely free do use and do.

If you want to start a journal and share your plans with us you can start one in this forum:

http://www.mustloveweddings.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=142

It is the new members journal forum and it is just so you don't get lost in the daily traffic here and every body gets a chance to meet our newest bride. Journals are then moved into their respective month & year forums after 30 days I believe it is.

Something else you can do is post your proposal story!

Here: http://www.mustloveweddings.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9

We'd love to know how you guys got engaged!

If you want to post pictures anywhere, just upload them to your favorite image hosting website... flickr, photobucket ect and then paste the url between img codes or just paste it into the pop up box that comes up if you click the insert image box on the reply window.

You can upload a profile pic or avatar by playing around in your user cp.

If you have anymore questions, let me know!
