So far so good on Shutterfly. I know Tara posted on the other forum that sometimes her pics disappear, but there are other forums that don't experience any issues with this. You can use all the same programs you used to upload as you did with UW. :)

in the message box, there's a little square that looks like a pic. of a mountain...click on that, then copy your shutterfly URL into the box....that should do it! :)

I fixed it the trick is to go into user options and change the message editor interface to Enhanced!!!

The signature had been on all my posts last night (before and after it was made) and then this morning it just suddenly wasn't anywhere.

Aurora, if they were posted prior to you adding the siggy, it won't show. It will only show in posts after you added it.

Usually to look at journals I'll just click on last page next to the thread title, or page 3, whatever comes last. My Journal is only showing 3 pages, but really there are 4. I can't get to the last page unless I click on my main thread & then click last page from there?? I noticed this with someone elses journal too. Why is this happening? Its confusing me lol

I'm not quite sure I understand what the problem is. I can see a Last Page option on the forum listing, and it takes me to page 4 (well, on 20 posts/page anyway - the number of pages varies according to that).

Did you know, though, that if you click on the blue down arrow before each thread title that it will take you to exactly where you left off in that journal? And I'm working on installing another feature that will put an arrow next to the titles that will take you to your last post in that thread. :)

I can't seem tp post in my weight loss journal. It just sits there after I press the quick reply button and never gets anywhere. When I try to go advanced or post a regular reply, I get a site that says I don't have access to do that. But I can post in other places just fine.

Strangely I changed how I typed a few things and now it works. Can using too many parenthesis screw something up, because that seemed to be the problem. I was trying to type a list like this:

-Item 1 (more specific)
-Item 2 (more specific)

I had a list of 8 things and it would not post until I changed the list to this format: Item 1, Item 2, etc. SOO weird.

You have to have 5 posts before you are able to upload an avatar and/or siggy. The first 5 posts are also moderated and may take a little while to come through on the board. :)

they're showing up in bold in my User CP but when I click on the last page it doesn't actually show me the most current response in that thread. Then I click on User CP again and the thread still shows in bold with the same last poster, like I didn't just go in there.

When I click on New Posts it shows me current posts on threads I've subscribed to and it takes me to the most current response.

So it's like the problem is only in my User CP.

It's been mentioned to me that this is may have something to do with Browser Hijacking on your end and you should run a virus scan on your computer for malware, just in case there is something there. Do you have regular virus scanning software?

Okay, I have an idea of how to narrow down the root of the problem....

UPDATE:

We are aware of the issues and errors. This is due to a cpanel update that messed up apache. We are currently working on the issue but as of right now do not have an ETA (estimated time to fix the issue). You will be able to view your sites by using firefox. Please be patient and this will get resolved.

It's funny, because this company has been so awesome to use. So much so, that Lacie even switched over to them on her sites.

Just sometimes little things happen, and unfortunately, it's happened to us. When we first opened, we had serious issues that the other hosting company wasn't willing to resolve, which is why we moved. Luckily, these new guys work hard at fixing the problem permanently instead of temporarily patching it, so that's good for us.

I'm glad you guys are really patient while these little bugs are worked out. :)

It is still working crappy at home - it was fine when I was at work. It took me about twenty minutes to see this page, and I definitely have a virus now. And that WinAntiSpyware stuff ... that's part of the virus, so if anybody else sees that, do not click on it to download it. FH thought it was real before and it's slowly eating his computer now, so ... yeah. My Norton has said it's fixed things, but I'm not sure if it really has yet.

I turned the Birthday Icon install we did the other day OFF this morning. It's possible--but not confirmed--that it had a vulnerability that caused these virus warnings. I'm still looking into it, but if you (as in everyone who was getting the virus warnings) will let me know if everything is running better, I'd appreciate it.

Anything that will help narrow down why this was happening will be helpful to me. I have another ticket out to my hosting company to see what they say about this, but have not heard back yet.

Then it isn't storing the site cookie. It only stores your preferences if you're doing the "remember me" option when you log in.

Okay...I'm having WEIRD problems....this happened last night and today! I get the email updates of when there are new posts to my subscribed threads...when I click on the link to the thread, I get the error "This Page Does Not Exist." However, I can come and type in www.mustloveweddings.com (http://www.mustloveweddings.com) and get to the page and get to the thread that I want....It doesn't do this all the time, either...any suggestions!?

Okay, I got the email notifications and when I click on it, it's linking me straight here. Therefore, I have NO idea what could be causing your errors.

The only thing I can think of is to unsubscribe to a couple of your regular subs, then resubscribe and see if that clears it up. Let me know if this helps, and in the meantime, I'll keep searching for other answers. :)

Okay, I have a problem. When ever I go into a thread, weather it be from the site or a link in a notification email or even just going to the next page in a thread, I always get sent to the bottom of the page rather than the top or the first unread post. It is starting to get a bit annoying having to always go back to the top of the page or try and find the next post I haven't read yet.

Lacie it is fine now. But it was if I went to themes and then to the orange thread. If I went to the orange thread from the main board it showed (that is when I saw the double post and deleted). Maybe I was more tired last night than I thought, lol.

I cleaned my cache, history, cookies, system virus check and just defragged a 2 week old computer. I can not go into a section and pick a topic and see the last few posts. I have to go into the topic from the main board. So if it isn't the last thread to be posted on then I don't see post for the last several days. It happes in every forum. But I noticed it again tonight in the Hot Spot so I am not sure what is wrong but I don't see the last posts but it continues to show up bold.

Hmm...I downloaded ZoneAlarm Security Suite onto my desktop and now I can't see any smilies or Images on MLW. All I get is the red x. It's really annoying. I've tried clearing the cache but that didn't work. I'll ask Mark what he suggests when he gets in, but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone has any ideas...

I'm assuming the Zone Alarm has some settings somewhere. Here's a bit I found on it:

Overall, ZoneAlarm Security Suite's configuration is as simple or complex as you prefer. For instance, set the suite's Internet cookie management to off, turn it on high (blocking all cookies), or leave it at medium to permit session-only cookies. If you want more detailed control, however, you can accept each tracking cookie on your computer for whatever length of time you like.

It may have a setting for images as well.

Thanks, Gi. I've had the regular Zone Alarm on my computer forever, so my permissions shouldn't have changed when I updated. I checked everything and it seems to be the same. It's weird, 'cause it's only happening on MLW. I even tried it on firefox thinking maybe it was something weird with my IE but it doesn't load them there either. I'll have to mess around with it more later...we're off to the gambling boat for the evening.

It's really the strangest thing, I've gone through cleared the cache, cleared the cookies, and went through to make sure I didn't accidentally block images....

Grabbing the url of an image just brings me up with a 403 message, normally I'd check to make sure that the images are all chmodded 666, but what's odd is this seems to be only happening on Firefox on my Mac, if I try a different browser, it's fine. :dunno:

I know lunarmagic has mentioned the same thing happening on one of her computers too.

Ah HA! I found the culprit! I have Web Developer Toolbar installed, and for some reason, I had Disable Referrers enabled and it blocked some of the images.

Have you checked the usual suspects (cookies/cache)? Because, well, to be honest...If you can access the site, you can access the site...Regardless of what browser you're using. When your browser/operating system becomes an issue is when you have trouble with a specific feature. But, if as you say, MLW won't load at all (i.e. cannot locate server), then it sounds like a local problem.

Have you rebooted lately? (Only reason I ask is that I rarely reboot, my PC stays on continuously for days, weeks at a time) If not, try a reboot.

I have good protection software on both computers (and it happens to both),,on my computers, but I also have MLW always allowed ~it is on a list for site that I always want to be on. I sign on then I am off, if I want to post I am back to the sign on screen.......cookies too..............I don't leave my computers on all the time, I do clean out the 'junk" everyday, the usual maintainece..............
