Bite me, school

This is seriously my most stressful week I have ever had in college - I had an exam this morning, tomorrow I have a paper due as well as another exam, and then Thursday is another exam. And I'm supposed to go to campus band tonight - 7-9:30 - but there is no f-ing way that I can afford to not study/work on my paper during that 3-hour chunk of time (adding in bus time to and from campus). I explained my situation to the one of the conductors, a grad assistant, and asked if I could leave after an hour, and she went to the head director of bands who told that she can't excuse me. This director is new and has no idea about campus band in the first place, and Vereena is the one in charge of attendance ... not him. So I have to decide between going to band and not studying or studying and getting a full point lower in campus band for not going. THIS SUCKS!!! And what's worse is that I have three more weeks this semester that are going to be exactly like this, with three exams and papers or projects due all in one week. WTF am I going to do then????? MSU, I hate you right now.

Blah, that sucks. :( Is campus band for a grade? If not, I say skip it. :heee: I always wondered how people managed to do extra curriculars in college... I know I never had time.

I am taking band for a grade, but it only went down to 3.5 for missing last night, thank God. It's one credit and an easy 4.0 ... oh well. I got my paper done at the time I would have gotten home from rehearsal, so I'm glad I skipped. I have one more exam and Psych Fest today (need to search for a Spring semester internship...), then a crazy-hard exam tomorrow in Cognitive Psychology. I may need to recruit some friends to "celebrate" Thursday night ... :party3:

Thanks, Julie! And definitely TGIF ... though yesterday felt like Friday ... But yeah, last night after I got home, I spent the evening looking through wedding magazines and watching Grey's Anatomy. Not too shabby of an end to a crummy week. And I your user text says you're a grad student ... what school?

Aaah, amazing how flipping through a wedding magazine can make ya just feel wonderful isn't it?
