Here's one from the wedding. My DH INSISTED that I have a dandelion in my bouquet....luckily I found a silk Dandelion and put it in the bouquet.

I want to carry red roses/flowers with green orchids. My MOH will carry ivory roses/flowers and green orchids (she'll be in red). I love the contrast.

It was in water until 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle. The flowers were REALLY, really fresh (step mom is a florist, they arrived at the shop the day before the wedding) so I really had no issues with them at all. I didn't care for how long the stems were, but at that point, I wasn't about to complain.

As a matter of fact, I left them hanging upside down in the van for a week while we were on the cruise and when we got back, a few flowers were drying a bit, but for the most part, they were still alive and they still smelled fabulous! (I chose the Osiana roses because they are known for their fragrance)

I was hoping that the roses would have opened up a little more, but MIL forgot to take the roses out of the fridge (we DIYed). I don't blame her though, she had a lot of stuff to do, and it still turned out beautifully.

Woohoo I get to share mine. I had calla lillies for my flower. All my flowers for everyone were calla lillies. My bouquet and Scotts bout were sprayed blue. While everyone else's was white.

I don't have a lot of pics of the flowers. There are the best ones that I have.

I loved how my bouquet turned out. All the flower lady had was a few pictures of what I like and a few meetings and my bouquet turned out better then I thought it was going to.

Does anyone have any good sources for real looking silks? I've found a couple pretty good ones on ebay, but I wasn't sure if there were others I'm missing to compare to. I know they won't really be any cheaper but I figure I could always reuse or resell that way and I don't feel so bad spending so much know they won't die in a week lol.

The one yellow rose was to represent friendship - when Jer proposed, he gave me a dozen red roses, and one yellow rose - I wanted to bring that to our wedding too :) I did the same with the BM bouquets - each of them had a yellow rose in it...as did the GM's bout's :)

And this was my bouquet. I was so pleasantly surprised, it was more beautiful than I ever imagined. If you look closely, you can see that the pins they used to secure the ribbon/tape around the stems is even the same colour as our green poms. :)
