Hi all,
FH wants to make CDs as STDs. He wanted to put lots of fun songs on them and make them really fun and lively so people will be excited for the wedding. Because he is so excited about this, I really want to do them too BUT I have what seems like a million questions!
Do I include a card or magnet of some sort so people can put it on their refridgerator, is that really important? I was thinking maybe buy printable sleeves (ones without windows) to put in the mailers and they could hang the sleeves on their fridge, it would cost more but that might work.
I don't want them to look cheesy. We're having a formal wedding but we want to convey the message that its going to be fun. We were thinking that the CD itself should say something like, "We're going to eat, drink and be married" and have champagne bottles/ martini glasses on it with our names and the date obviously.
Lastly, how important is a picture. Our parents are inviting a lot of people we don't even know. We got engagement portraits done but they're taken in the park and they just don't seem to fit the, "Yay, let's party!" theme. They're a bit posed and stuffy, very nice though.
Maybe I'm over thinking this but obviously I want to send a good impression considering I haven't met all his out of town family and he mine. I want people to see these and think it will be worth the trip!!
