The BMs made their own out of the leftover beads from my boquets:

I made my jewelry, the BMs, and my mother's.
Mine was inspired by a vintage 1920s necklace of my aunt's that I wore as a bracelet.

It's hard to see, but here is my mother's necklace.

Here's the only decent pic I have of me with my BMs wearing their jewelry. I matched the necklaces to their personalities. One being a little more conservative and the other a little more funky.

Thanks.
It was a lot of fun to be able to make things for my "girls".

They DO look beautiful! How did you learn to make your own jewellery? is there a kit, or do you have to be really creative??? I am a paint-by-numbers/etchasketch kind of girl, but i love the idea of making my own necklace.

Actually it's a side business I have. My avatar is one of mine and if you click the purple blinkie in my signature it takes you to my website. It's just something I decided I could do and did. Sometimes things work, sometimes things don't. Trial by error in some cases. It's a lot like any other form of art in that you take risks for something you love doing and in the end have something to be proud of.

Well I think it's an outstanding art! very cool. I am writing all the music for my wedding ceremony, and I feel it definately adds a lot to bring a personal touch.

That's a great touch. My mother wrote us a song and performed it for our ceremony. It is something I will never forget.

Music is really the only artisitic thing I can do- I've got 10 left thumbs!!! Totally useless. My stickmen's heads don't even connect to their bodies. Though, I'm planning on doing my own invites and the drafts turned out pretty well IMO! :)

Have a journal somewhere with pics of these drafts? We're picture addicts around here afterall.
