Where are you going for your honeymoon? How long will you be gone? Is it immediately after the wedding or are you waiting a bit and then going?

We are going to Thailand, and we may have to wait a couple months to go because summer time is the rainy season there. Fall is the best time to go from what i have read.

I don't know where we're going yet. I won't know until we get there. My fingers are crossed for a caribbean cruise.

But to answer the second part of your question, we're leaving the monday after the wedding.

We are going up to Northern, MN for our honeymoon for a couple of days. Just a relaxing week. We will be going somewhere tropical in 2007 :)

We're going to Charleston, SC for 3 days after the wedding, then we are going to Antigua for 9 days in December - Merry Christmas to us! :)

We went to Cancun for a week. We got married on a saturday and then left really early on monday morning and then flew home the next saturday.

We're not sure where we want to go for our honeymoon. FH brought up Africa. We're not taking a honeymoon until right after Christmas. FH is still in school and his next break is December/January. We'd love to go to Europe but it will be too cold!

We're doing a 15 day river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam. We're leaving the day after the wedding. No internet for 2 weeks. I'm going to go nuts!!!!!

We are going to Gatlinburg, TN! We even found an awesome cabin where we can fish from the porch, LOL! I am hoping we will spend a day or two in Atlanta because I hope to be able to get Bruce Braves tickets for a wedding present. I am already anxiously awaiting the 2008 season schedule.

We are going to Europe for 2 weeks and can't wait!
We have a free place to stay with access to a car so we will be doing some 2-3 day trips to Switzerland, Austria and The Czech Republic.
I don't think we could have managed it if the flight tickets weren't a wedding present from FH parents.

We are leaving on our HM the day after our renewal wedding next June. We are spending 4 nights in NYC, and then we are going on an 8-night Caribbean cruise.

LOL, Kim, I know this feeling all too well! We have been eagerly waiting for November to hurry up and get here so we can find out whether we'll be able to catch the Yankee's playing while we're in NYC!

We're doing a week-long Caribbean cruise that leaves the day after the wedding, and I suppose you could say the HM starts the day of the wedding because we're going to be staying in some nice hotel that FH's keeping a secret from me on our wedding night.

We went to DisneyWorld in Florida for our honeymoon. We left the day after the wedding and it was wonderful! We had such a good time and I can't wait until we can go back!

DH and I went to Treasure Island, FL. It was wonderful!! Our wedding was on Saturday and we left the Monday after. The traffic was not bad at all.. I think it was smart to go on a Monday. Our hotel was right on the beach and Treasure Island is a cute little place, w/ lots of surrounding things to do!

We are trying to find ideas on places to go..

We won't have a delayed honeymoon until March-May 2007 so we have time to save money.

We talked about a cruise..but want to look at other ideas too. We are living in Oklahoma where there isn't much to see or do :)

WE went to Jamaica. We got married on August 5. We left August 7 and returned August 12. I was glad we waited a day because sunday we would have been so tiered if we would have left on that day. We stayed at Couples Ocho Rios.

We are going to Venezula for our honey moon but we don't plan on going immediately because of the fact that it is hurricane season during our wedding. But Velezula will be our "real honeymoon" and we plan on going to BC to some nice resort in the woods for probably 5 days after the wedding!!!!!!

the day after the wedding we are driving up to north central minnesota (brainerd) to a small bed and breakfast for two nights. Next February we are going to Manzanillo, Mexico to stay at an all-inclusive club (small, on the ocean, but not a "beach") in a private honeymoon bungalow. I'm so excited!

We are going to Las Vegas. I know its not tropical, but it is the desert...
we were going to go right after the wedding, but my FH will be in school, so we might go in January during his break..
Vegas is our favorite spot, but everytime we go, there are things we don't do cuz of the money..
Our honeymoon is us going to Vegas and doing it Vegas style! living it up like we have no budget (within some reason) for 4 or 5 days...:jump4joy:

We are going to Myan Rivera, Mexico. I wanted to leave the next day, but FH and the travel agent talked me into leaving Monday. On Sunday we're going to spend a day in Boston and sleep at the airport hotel so we don't have to wake up so early the next day.

We are going to Playa del Carmen in the Mayan Riviera for 5 nights, 6 days. We would go longer but school starts again the week after and I don't want to miss the first few days. Anyway, we're staying at an all-inclusive resort, here are a few pictures (I'll show more after):

We went to Puerto Vallarta. We stayed at an all inclusive place named Dreams and we had the Jacuzzi suite, which meant we had our own private jacuzzi on the balcony. :jump4joy: It was alot of fun, and the hotel staff, cab drivers, & locals were so awesomely accomidating.

We will be spending the wedding night in a hotel/inn, and we will leave the next day at some point.

We're going to Orlando for two weeks, since it will be A-our first real vacation together, and B-we probably won't get another chance at a vacation for a while. If we were paying for lodging ourselves, it would only be one week, but Dave's parents are getting us their timeshare! :jump4joy:

Why Orlando? Disney, Universal, probably Nickelodeon studios too.... We're gonna go see EVERYTHING. We have the time to do it, AND time to relax. I can't wait!

You will LOVE Orlando. We've been to Orlando 3 years in a row!! We were engaged there our first year. There was so much to do we had to keep going back. Thanks, Amy! We've actually both been there before, me as recently as November for a conference. The timeshare we're staying at is one his family stayed at when they were younger. But this will be the first time we've been able to spend so long down there, and get to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING we want. I haven't been to Universal, so that'll be cool.
