Okay awhile back i was about to book a dj.. but he stopped calling me and answering me so after two months. i said screw hem. and i just forgot about a dj at all. i was so upset. with my experence. but i looked at this dj (http://www.nightlifedjs.com/) before and seemed very good. well he e-mailed me a few days ago.. and i emailed hem back asking about friday rates and this is the email he sent back to me..
"Amber,
Thanks for the e-mail. We offer a Friday night "All-Inclusive" for $600.00. This covers your entire reception and includes our full sound and intelligent light show!
Did you ever receive a wedding packet from us? If not forward me your address and I will mail you out one immediately! Also, I have meetings scheduled next week in the Edina area, will that work for you?
Thanks!
Joe"
For 600.00 dollar with a all-Inclusive" service is that a good price for a friday?
Thank you so much :)

It sounds like a good price to me. Pricing is kind of a local thing though. So maybe others who live in your area will have a better idea for you.

I think we paid $350 for a Saturday night last time. Prices are subjective, based on location though. If you really like him, if you really feel like he is the right one- book it. It's only money, right?

I think that is a good price. We're paying $650 for our DJ, and he is giving us an "all inclusive" package too.
I think it's a great price!

It depends on area prices but I think that is a pretty good price. make sure it is the package you want though!!

Most DJs won't discount for a non-Saturday night. They don't in my area anyway. I called around 10 and none would budge on their price.
Like everyone else said, it depends on the area concerning the cost. The average in my area is $800 for 4 hours and that's without the lighting and other props.

I ended up with a deal on my dj! I was so upset when I kept getting $600 or more quotes so finally I was venting to my FFIL and he said I know one from a dj service that I had already talked to. Turned out she is going to be our dj and gave us break for the price $530 total for everything!!
I think that you are getting a great price actually! Especially when it is in the cities. My DJ charges the same amount for 4 hours on a Saturday, and I don't think I've ever seen any DJ give a *Friday Night Discount* (They have to do all the same amount of work no matter the day, you know?)
