Bathroom Baskets

Bathroom Baskets are a great idea for either the church, reception, or both! I had this saved in my journal and thought I'd pass it along. Feel free to add pictures, poems, etc. from your day!

Lint brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, panty hose, knee highs, gum, band aids, mouth wash, nail polish remover, tampons, pads, hair spray, clear nail polish, hand cream, antibacterial hand gel, nail files, combs, listorine paper breath thingy's, Q-tips, kleenex, hair elastic, safety pins, bobby pins, Tylenol, contact solution, spray deoderant, Shout wipes, moist towelettes


So happy you're here to share in our special day,
But should something happen to go astray,
Please help yourself to the contents within,
Band-aids, hand lotion and even safety pins,
Use only what you need and leave the rest,
It may also be useful to another guest,
So repair the damage that may have been done,
Then hurry on back and join in the fun!

I got a little desperate when I was without UW, and made a visit to wedding channel... And there was a post about getting free samples for bathroom baskets. So I asked the girl to email me her list of sites and this is everything she sent me (I havent checked any of them out yet though, so some of the links may not work):

Also, try Dove's website. They send samples for deoderant, hair care, creams and a bunch of coupons for $1.00 off.

The one for Walmart may have been changed as they rotate their sample products a lot. Just search around on that like to find things.

Sarah, that's a great idea. I ended up spending a fortune on bathroom baskets, and I don't think anyone used anything.

Heather - that's our thought too - to spend lots of money on stuff that may or may not be used isn't good. That's why we're sticking to products that we'd normally use anyways (with the exception of a couple...or free samples :lol2:)

The free list from WC...just wanted to warn everyone, I "know" the bride who made up this list and she warns everyone they say to give 6-8 weeks for delivery and to not wait till the last minute to try to get these!

That's true! (Thanks for pointing that out!) I went through and signed up for a couple last night and most said 6-8 weeks, though a couple said 4-6... but thats still awhile, so do it nice and early!

I ordered some samples as well (I went back to WC too Serda). A lot of the links that she sent me were no good. I know Dove worked, as did one of the tampon websites. Other than that, I think the rest were bad links or the promotion was over.

Same here - but when you get to the Wal-Mart page, there's a ton of other promotions...and they change regularly, so we'll have to keep looking :)

Just wanted to let you know that I posted back in June and I have received ALL but two things so when I did list those links, they all worked. If you go to almost any product's site, they offer free samples. And Wal-Mart does rotate their samples every so often, but theirs was the FIRST one I got.

Sorry, to those who had an issue, but they worked for me without problems.

The links that are not working anymore are just offers that the companies are not giving anymore. Most free samples are only for a short time. I think most people understand that tluvsherj.

I'm not planning on putting a lot of money into the bathroom baskets but I do think having a few things for the guests is a nice little detail.
