No matter what kind of flowers you used, whether they were real or silk, what was your flower budget or how much did you end up spending on flowers?

The centerpieces were included in the reception package. But for all other flowers (bouquets, bouts, etc.) we spent about $550. That was about our budget amount.

We used real and fake flowers. Our budget was around $600
:computer:
Usually you can figure 8% of your wedding budget will be for flowers more than that would be your choice of course.

Mine were about 8% of our budget (and our budget was pretty darn small). I spent $159 on flowers, they are being sent to my FMIL's house, and we are having a flower party before the rehearsal. All the girls are making their own bouquets, the moms are making their corsages, and we're all pitching in on the bouts. The reception centerpieces were provided by the venue, so we didn't worry about any of that.

$1700
That's about 11% of our budget.

I have no clue the percent of my budget but we are going to be around $400 and that includes centerpieces

I ordered our bouquets online although I bought 2 extra because I thought 2 of my friends would have been in the wedding so I could have saved $100. And I did the decorations and centerpieces myself. I think the total for flowers was around $400-$450.

Our flowers are about $780 or 13% of our budget. But they were really our big splurge since we are saving a lot with getting married on a military base.

Not a clue on the percentage, but we were going to spend about $800 from the florist I wanted ot use. My aunt and uncle ended up doing them as our wedding gift, so we didn't spend a penny :)

Our budget was $500 and I think we were under. The roses alone were only about $300 (24 dozen total), and then we had incidental costs like the wire, ribbon, etc. We did our own flowers.

We budgeted $500 for the silk flowers we want to use.
We are only using flowers in the bouquets, corsages and bout's. Centerpieces are non-floral.
So far we've spent $135.00 for :
3 BM bouquets
1 toss bouquet
4 corsages
6 bout's
...that includes arranging by a professional.
All that is left is my bouquet, which I have not decided on yet, but it will not cost more than $100.

We budgeted $3,000. When we met with the florist and told her everything we wanted, it was actually $1,000 under what we budgeted. We were thrilled!
We are spending about $600 on flowers. I don't remember what we budgeted out.

Our budget is around 500-600. I am using a lot of different flowers and they cost a little more plus flowers are one of my most important! Because I am a flower!! hehe and heather is kinda expensive!

We budgeted $2000, which was originally 20% of our budget, until we realized we couldnt keep the wedding within the budget, so now its about 12% of the budget...
my florist sent me a quote of $2020 today...I am going to try and make some adjustments to get it to about 1700 or 1800

We didn't need many flowers for our location, and my mom used to be a florist, so we saved a lot of money by doing them all ourselves. We spent about $200 for a couple of centerpieces, 2 bouquets, a crown of flowers for the FG, 3 corsages and 4 bouts.

The church already had alter centerpieces that were PERFECT !! They were already there and they offered to remove them, but I said NO !!
So the only flowers were the 3 bouquets.
Silk Bouquets (Wilton)
One Practice Bouquet $19.99
My Bouquet $19.99 + $5.00 for additional flowers and additional ribbon
My Maid of Honor Bouquet $19.99 + $5.00 for addiitional supplies :)
2 Boutineers-Got from Michaels-They were less than $3.00 a pc.
I took Wilton bouquets and alterted them to fit my needs :) Florists wanted $500 or more to do to do a few fake flowers.

Ours cost abour $3200 which is actually EXACTLY 8% of what our budget has turned into (it expanded, not on purpose though!)
We're having some HUGE ceterpieces though, so it's actually a REALLY good price for what we're doing.

Based on... I think 8%... our budget is $1600.00. I am doing candles and mirrors for centerpieces since we were going over in budget on the DJ and photographer. I'm estimating spending $900.00 on flowers now, and plus my craft centerpieces, my total decorating budget will roughly be $1200.00.

I never realized flowers cost so much! Me and my mom went to see a florist yesterday and based on: 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 6 boutonnières, 4 corsages, 1 wreath, toss bouquet, 6 chair decorations it came to about $1200...after we left we decided we would check another florist or two. I was expecting about $800...my bridal bouquet alone was $200...that's half of what I spent on my dress!

Mine came to just under $1000. That was with the $75 off my boquet and Keiths' bout being free for winning a drawing in a bridal shop. That includes the balance of my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, bouts for GMs & Dads and corsages for Moms (maybe Grandmas). Its also 6 kissing balls on the aisle that will be moved to reception tables, rose petals for tables, an arrangement at the altar, and it seems like I'm forgetting something. We also got a 10% discount for paying everything in full at our appointment. I wasn't planning to spend that much but we got everything we wanted and more!!

A friend of mine from high school is doing our flowers, and the quote she just gave me - for my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 10 bouts (Brian, 4 GMs, 2 Ushers, 4 dads/grandpas), & 5 corsages (moms/grandmas); all simple with pink roses and very little greenery - is between $150-200. I hadn't thought about doing a toss bouquet ... maybe I'll make one from fake flowers.

I ended up going with silks and spent about $40 for everything

We are looking at about $3000. It is more than 8% but it is not in our budget because FMIL is paying so we did not calculate that into the budget. If we did it the way I was fist planning (DIY) it would be unser $1000 but she wants a florist and everything taking care of for us so that is how much it will be!

I think ours is going to be under 1000, which is less than 8% of our budget

Our flowers were $3000, and we have a TON of flowers -- I won bride of the month and got 30% off, and she only jacks the prices up 2x, where most places do them 4x. That is 6% of our budget (actually 6.67% if you want to be technical), so we're right where we should be I think!
We are using all real flowers :)

We are going to do all the decorating and flower arrangements ourselves. The budget is $1100 for fresh flowers and pumpkins. We will use some silk but I am trying to keep it to the autumn leaves only.

I think we ended up spending something like $300 and that was just centerpieces and corsages and boutineers.

Not including flower petals for the flower girl or guest tables (I haven't bought them yet) I've only spent $34 on flowers. Granted, we did all artificial, but really, the girls's single roses cost about $10 for 4, and both my bouquet and toss bouquet were $18, and then my mom came home with these rose candle rings, that we cut up and made the single flowers into the bouts and corsages, so those only cost us $6...and they are actually really pretty!
I have to say, my best deal that I've gotten throughout all my wedding planning is my flowers. :eyebrows:

Mine was....well....more than 10% of the budget. Our florist did everything, and there were TONS of flowers. Also added in that bill were all of the rentals(tables, chairs, tents), so I really am not sure how much we spent on flowers alone. Everyone would :jawdrop: if I told them how much we spent on the florist.

I don't know exactly how much was spent, but ours was TINY! First off, we didn't really care too much about the flowers so we didn't use a lot, and then we bought awesome silks on sale, and my friend (who used to be a florist) arranged them for us.

We got silk flowers and we only got boquets and the button holes. If I recall right it was a bit over $300 for the lot.

I didn't really have a flower budget. I knew what I wanted and I knew it wasn't going to cost a lot. I wasn't having anything to big or a lot of flowers. I think in the end I ended up spending like maybe $500. We used real flowers...all Calla Lillies btw.
