Ok, I know some of you have it... just admit it. :heee:
Who bought sparkly "Mrs" or "Bride" tank tops & undies?
AND where did you buy them?

ETA: Post pictures if you want!

I got mine from David's Bridal, but just the undies. I made my Bride T-shirt and then had the monogrammed yoga jacket with "Soon to be Mrs. ourlastname"

 I think I went overboard just a little.

How did you make your shirt? Was it with crystals or sequins?

I bought my thongs at one of the lingerie stores here in Springfield! I wasn't out looking for them tho--I was getting my bustier and noticed that they had them up front when I was getting ready to pay so I HAD to get a pair!
I was going to put up a picture but photobucket was down.:impatient:

Mine wasn't exactly whats described but I had a "soon to be mrs...." hoodie. I got mine on ebay for about $30 and it was perfect! The front had our wedding date with a little blue crystal over the "i" in April.

I went to Michael's and purchased the iron on letters and then used a sequined iron-on heart as added decoration. I'll see if I can find a pic...

I've been looking for iron on words, but not "bride" etc (for another project). I got a great link for individual crystals http://www.artbeads.com/ but I'm still looking for whole letters or words, because I'm not really very skilled at this kind of stuff.

So how exactly do you get those individual crystals to stick on? Do you iron the crystal side, or the other side of the fabric?

Celeste

It seems like you iron the crystal side, from what I can see, then you iron the other side as well. There is a seller on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/CUSTOM-LOGO-Rhinestone-Crystal-transfer-heat-top-bling_W0QQitemZ270007317154QQihZ017QQcategoryZ2812 9QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) that has tons of instructions. She also sells iron on patterns, which might be the way to go for me in th end... it has all the dots, and then you place the iron on crystals on the dots and attach them on top.

I don't know. I don't want to wreck a bunch of shirts trying to figure this out.

ok so here is my how to for my sweater:

What you need:
iron on crystals/or reg crystals
Transfer paper/ contact paper
fabric glue.

Ok I first picked out my design and followed this pocedure to make the design (I also tried a little on my own to)
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6db38b3127cce8900ea9fc14100000016108AYsWzhm4YuD

Then Since I used contact paper instead of TRANSFER paper I had to use fabric glue to make them stick. My experience was that since I had used the contact paper to make my design when I went to iron it on the paper became more stuck to the stones. If I would have used transfer paper then the stones would have just ironed on!! I hope this is clear enough if not let me know and I will try again!!

Here is one of my designs!

I had these made for our first anni trip to Disneyland - DH had originally gotten shirts like this for our honeymoon (also to Disneyland) but the store had messed up the sizes. So when he surprised me with the trip, I surprised him with these!

I want one that says "soon to be Mrs. Crane" but besides wearing it the day our wedding to the church.. I won't wear it again and don't want to pack away to yellow with age.

I might do it..I don't know yet.

I ordered a Soon to be Mrs. one off www.cafepress.com - great site for ordering shirts!!!!! They have great bride and maternity ones too! You can also get custom designed ones and most are for $20 or so plus $5 S&H.

We also used them for custom shirts for the Bach party!

One of my bridesmaids got us these. :) I wore mine on the bachelorette outing, and we wore them the morning after the wedding. DH really had to be convinced.
