I am doing my own Invites, Stds and programs etc. What is the best and easiest program to use to design this stuff? Should I just use the Word or something else. Thanks!

Word is going to absolutely drive you bonkers unless you buy a set of "Print your own" invitations and stuff that comes with a template. Word is not really designed to do that sort of stuff, though you can find templates.

You'll want to use some sort of graphical text editor. I used photoshop for mine, but other ladies might have cheaper and better ideas for you.

I downloaded an excellant free trial for this purpose.
I have used my Paint Shop Pro for invites many times too.
I will see if I can't find the free program I used.....It has been a year now, so we will see!

OH!!!! I forgot about Print Workshop. Walmart....like $20.
It is decent. But make sure you do tests first, because it can be a little iffy in the alignment.

And uh, I forgot you can also download a trial of Paint Shop from corel (http://www.corel.com). My Dad just tested it out last week because he wasn't sure he wanted to buy it.

If you want to use a graphical sort of program and don't really want to spend any money or use a trial of some program, you can always try GIMPshop (http://www.gimpshop.net/).... It's the open source equivalent (I personally am not fond of the problem for extended periods of use, but in a pinch it works just fine).
