What with all of the roadblocks they put up in front of people.

Or maybe that is just my University.

I already have a degree from there. However, my state requires teachers to keep taking college courses every so many years.

So I am thinking, great, I will take a Library Science class, perhaps a computer class, etc, as I am not wanting to get my Master's right now.

Well, you would think it would be easy. I have money, I am willing to give it to them in exchange for letting me take two online classes.

Nope. They messed it up so that I am in the system wrong, I do not have an Advisor, and only one human up there can put me in to classes, and she is saying that she can't do it either :shakefist:

Can you figure it out sometime this year so that my licesnse doesn't expire? :hopmad:

This seriously makes me want to scrap teaching all together and get a nice State Job. Our dissability department loves teachers.

:shakefist:

See my post in your journal. I'm sorry about the school nonsense, but don't give up!

Can you not just go take a class at a local community college? They offer continuing education courses. Not sure how it works for your state, but good luck!

I totally agree Jaime! My poor roommate was trying to get a French minor. She applied at the correct time and then got shuffled to EVERYONE on campus. She was playing "hunt the bureaucrat" for weeks. THEN, after all that, she is told that the only person in the entire university who can give her that minor is out of the country for a YEAR. And no one there can grant her the minor in that woman's absence. Does that make any sense at all??!?!

Sorry to babble on. Just wanted to say I sorry for the crappiness.

We don't have any community colleges in my part of the state. I am stuck with a University, whether it is this one or WVU. I finally got it figured out though, it only took two days, 15 people and two missed days of work :laugh3:

A YEAR? Wow!!

Well, my Aunt works in the accounting department of my University and her boss was all, like :hopmad: about what I went through in the first HOUR yesterday. He doesn't know about the rest of the day and the trouble, etc, but she is going to tell him so he can :shakefist: at them :happytears:
