I was just interested in seeing what everyone's funniest/most embarassing shower moments were!

Mine was: In a truth or dare game we were playing, I lost, and had to go over to complete strangers and show them the "penis slippers" I was wearing. I must've been all shades of red then!! :happytears:

So what are yours? If you haven't had a shower yet, share what you're expecting! :)

Mine wasn't funny but it was embarassing :shuffle:

My MOH :disbelief: She behaved so badly that my Mom put her in her place :hammer: She complained about EVERYTHING from the church hall not being how she wanted it *like what do you think they are going to do, remodel for you??* to her not wanting to play any shower games, etc. My Mom and MIl were so embarassed by her behavior.

I don't know if it was embarrassing but sure was akward. My great aunt got me this really really ugly pot holder, obviously used kitchen towel, and a thing of Glade. I was glad she was there but the gift just made me feel weird. Everyone stopped and got all quiet. It was like I was being tested. I kept thinking someone was gonna go "GOTCHA!" but she was dead serious.

My little sister came to one of my showers. My friends decided to start asking me questions that I would never answer in front of her. So that was kind of embarrassing to be put on the spot :)

I had seven bridesmaids. Only three of them came to my shower: my sister, my SIL, and my best friend. :(

Yeah, the topic of conversation kept trying to drift over to DH's and mine sex life. My MIL, SIL and HS friends were there! It was all kinds of awkward!

Kate- that stinks about your BMs. I hope they had good excuses!

Mine was when they were doing a "Test the Bride" game (for each answer wrong I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth) and one of the questions was "What is Chris's favorite part of Jaci's body."

I turned pink, then red, the white, I'm sure! My grandma, mom, and FMIL were there, along with my nieces! I think I was most embarrassed about the FMIL being there.

I don't really get embarrassed. But my BM's got me some handcuffs and body butter that they didn't want me to open infront of everyone. Of course I did though! We just didn't show them all around cause there were children present. Funniest thing though was when someone gave us these super nice sheets and included linen spray. Someone (maybe a child?) asked what it was for and my aunt replied, "Oh, you spray it on your sheets to keep them smelling all nice." Well, my grandmother chimes in, "Oh heck, Grampa and I used Lysol for that!" It was so funny just the way she said it. You probably had to be there though.

 Mine wasnt a game or anything fun, just a cousin and her daughter who talk loudly and openly... Her daughter is almost 4 and was telling us all about how she has to make sure her dress didn't show her vagina (I cant even use a cute fake name because she taught her to say "vagina"!)... Very. Loudly. I think my 10 year old nephew was most embarassed. :giggle:

I was slightly embarrassed after everyone had left. My wedding party (minus my sister, who didn't stay long at ANYTHING), my aunt, MIL, DH, my two BIL's, FIL, and younger cousin were all sitting around, and my older cousin (in the wedding party) and DH's 3 sisters (in the wedding party) brought up the fact that my sister is a clueless idiot and obviously doesn't care that much about me. It's true, but they ruined a pretty good day by bringing it up in front of everyone like that.

It was also embarassing and really upsetting that a LOT of DH's family just didn't bother to come to the shower. It was RSVP regrets only, and my aunt only heard from 8 people on his side. So the rest just didn't bother to go.

I had a close call when my father started to give his toast. I thought he was about to rack on me for my track record with fire (2003 burned my room, 2005 knocked over a pan of boiling oil on myself) and I turned red and away from my guests. He ended up saying something really sweet though.

Mine was a game that they were all playing and I didn't know it! Two of my mom's friends were writing down everything I said as I opened my presents. Such as, "wow, thanks, this is great, we can really use this, oh, ahh, etc."

After the gift opening my MIL gave me the pad of paper and told me to read it aloud. She opened with, "This is all the things you will be saying on your wedding night."

Let me tell ya.. I didn't even know I said some of that, and putting it in that context was QUITE embarrassing!! One thing in particular is that my mom gave me a bottle of detergent and so, when reading, I had to say "ALL Small and Mighty!!!"

My face was definitely RED!
