What's the most expensive item on your registery? Do you expect to get it or did you just put it on there as wishful thinking?

A 40' plasma screen TV with surround ($3500?) sound AND a camcorder ($700)! We don't expect to get the TV but his dad will probably buy us the video camera.

A plasma TV, huh? Now you've got the wheels turning in my head to add that to our registry

Ours was a 10-piece Calphalon cookware set that my partner at work actually bought for my birthday in May! :)

The most expensive thing on our registry is a 9 piece All Clad cookeware set.... I don't really expect to get it.... and if I do get any All Clad, I expect it to be just one piece at a time.

Ours is our All Clad Stainless Steel Cookware, I don't expect to get it, but we get 10% off when we close our registry so thats why its there. Maybe someone will be feeling generous enough to get it for us :)

Ours was our $225 comforter. We got it from DHs grandma and aunt went in on it together.

We had a $300 air purifer on it, but then took it off because we decided we would rather have other things.

A China Placesetting set for 8 I believe was $300. WE also put down for a gas grill $200, and some wireless speakers from Sharper Image.

We're still updating. But I seriously doubt we'll get any of these.

I think the most expensive thing is the Dyson we registered for. We figure we probably won't get it...but a few people may go together and purchase it. We just put stuff on that we wanted and liked...and the Dyson was one of them.

Plasma Tv, Computer ..

James registered for things we KNEW we would NOT recieve, but it was wishful thinkin/dreaming .

I setup the baby registry and he says baby wants a plamsa tv and a new computer (which I did NOT add to our registry since i set it up).

The only thing i put on there expensive was a dresser which was wishful thinkin on my part, but we recieved it from a family friend on james side of the family.

Ours was our $400 Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. Can I just say I love my Nanny (grandma)? Because not only did she get it for us, but bought us the $150 attachment set for it as well! :)

We also had a $600 diningroom set (table and 6 chairs) that we ended up buying ourselves because when DH moved into our new house, we realized how junky his hand-me-down set looked compared to our brand new diningroom! Not to mention we were entertaining there the Christmas before our wedding, so we needed a new set anyways.

Ours is probably the video camera, it was like $300 ish, but I just figured you never know, someone might go in together with someone else and get it for us, or we may be pleasantly surprised. Also registered for a kitchen aid stand mixer for $299, my grandma said that she's sure she or someone will get it for me. There's a couple other higher price items, but mostly they are wishful thinking.

BUT I have to say, that I've heard many of you put "wishful thinking" items on your registries and found that someone ended up getting it for you...my hopes have gone up, just a tad... :kimgrill:

 We also put a Dyson on ours. If no one gets it for us (and we don't think that anyone will) we'll use our completion discount after the wedding to get it.

FH INSISTED on putting these swaroski (spelling?) crystal champagne flutes that he wants for the wedding..they are $400 a pair...i know, ridiculous. Sounds like he'll end up buying them anyways, so they probably won't be on our registry for long...but they would be nice to keep and use every anniversary and special occasions :)

We did get a weedwhacker though!
