What's the strangest item on your registry?

Face it... Sometimes you want oddball stuff. What's the weirdest item on your registry?

A 40' plasma screen TV with surround sound... FH's decision. We only did it because if we register for it at this particular store and even if we don't get it, we can go back within 1 year and buy it at the best sale price.

one of our friends put toothpicks on their registry -- they will have enough toothpicks until they have great grandkids! :)

On our registry it was probably the foot spa that we didn't get. DH also registered for a Chicago Cubs Talking Bottle Opener which we did get.

We had friends that registed for a case of bean dip and lots of crazy stuff. I had another friend that had a box of condoms on theirs.

Everyone has said the double golf bag holder....it's really NOT that strange, and it would be completely useful for us, as we have nowhere else to put our damn clubs!

Some of the more strange items.... A surge protecter... The Michael Graves one sold at Target specifically... We actually already have one, but it's so nice we sorta want another one... It's really nice.... and it looks kinda like a taco so FH calls it "The Power Taco".

The wireless Xbox 360 controller might be another that people find kinda strange...

We (well, I did) put a spiderman pillow on our registry. Then I removed it quickly when I thought about it and realized that a bunch of people who know the joke behind it would buy it, whether it had already been purchased or not!

And Jer should be hitting this thread soon - his spidey sense will be tingling :rofl:

Its not super strange, but we put a whole bunch of different salsas from Williams Sonoma on ours.

I just went to add an xbox 360 wireless controller to our Walmart registry and it wasnt an option! lol. So I emailed them the suggestion. :) The weirdest thing might be the chew toys for our dog.... :hehe:

My sister's fiance registered for a bottle of gatorade on theirs. So as a joke, we are requesting that everyone bring a bottle to the shower. He's going to have like 70 bottles! lol

My cousin registered for scooby doo bubble bath- as a joke. Let's say he's been scrubbing clean w/ scooby for a while now.

James thought it would be funny to register for it.

We can't afford it and unless everyone we invited pooled together and bought it there is no way we could get it :)

But James was amused by scanning stuff HE wanted..I scanned for more practial stuff :)
