I'm not sure what veil to get with it. I don't want anything longer than maybe fingertip, and probably just a one layer.
Here's the dress from David's Bridal on their model. You can't really see the detail of the veil on her, but that's about where I would wear it on the back of my head.

My hair will be half up and I will have this headpiece of stephanotis and pearl:

The veil at David's that went with the dress was $250. I can't spend even half that, but I want one that I can wear with my headpiece much like the models I have shown..

I think if you wear a veil like you have in the last picture it would be beautiful. And let me just say .... :ebaysearch: Don't pay David's $250!

Maybe get a very sheer veil. That way you'll have the elegance of a veil, but the back of your dress will still show. It's a beautiful dress!

I second Lisa on ebay. I bought my veil there for less than $30 and it is beautiful!
The dress is gorgeous and you look beautiful in it. I think a veil would just make it come together all that much more.

I think if you want a veil then get one! I am getting one then I know it will drive me nuts to wear it all night so I am taking it off at the reception. then everyone can see the beautiful back of my dress

I got my veil off ebay for 7.99 + like 6 for shipping ... definitely not the $90 one they wanted me to buy at David's. You can get something short, single tier, or whatever else you want, just for waaaay less money! Plus, like Heather said, you can always take it off for the reception, without feeling guilty for not wearing something you paid tons of money for :)

I think a single tier would look beautiful, especially with that headpiece. And like everyone else said, you would still be able to see the details of the dress.
You could also take it off for the reception, when most people are going to be able to see you up close and see your dress up close!
I actually borrowed my veil from a friend. I wanted a new dress, but I couldn't stomach paying $100 for a piece of tulle attached to a comb! :faint:
I LOVE your dress, BTW!

your dress is gorgeous... and I agree with all the suggestions above. If you want a veil, then get one... you can always remove it at the reception, cause I would understand any concern you have about covering up the beautiful back of your dress.

Keep in mind too (I think I touched on this in my last post but didn't expand like I wanted to) that most won't see the detail of your dress at the ceremony anyway! It will be in the recieving line, and at the reception that they'll have the full appriciation of your dress!

Thank you all for the compliments and advice! I really want a veil, but not something that will be overpowering. I just want something simple and elegant that will go with the dress. I think I will search on Ebay for what I can find. I'm just a very visual person, so until I actually have it and the dress together I can't really just see it and know if it will go with the dress or not...I will try my best though and I will put pictures up when I find one!

I think a simple veil would look lovely with your dress! :)
And definitely check ebay... they always have a huge selection. I bought mine (2 tiered with crystals and pearls) for $20. :)

Lovely dress btw. I got a lady to make my veil and it was only 22 dollars. Something simple yet great looking with my dress. You should be able to find something offof ebay, if you can't find someone to make one for you. Good luck. Keep us posted on the one you get.

Your dress is so beautiful! I love all the detailing. It's stunning!
I think that a sheer, simple veil would really accent your dress well.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO no I love this veil, very beautiful with your dress. You can get a silk floral, or fresh cluster to attach the veil to it like the on at Michaels for much, much less 250.00

I love your dress! I think a sheer veil would be a perfect compliment and would show the back of your dress. As others said, go to e-bay for the veil, you can get something beautiful for very little $$.

If you want a veil get one. I wanted a long veil but everyone tried to talk me out of it. I got the veil I wanted and I don't care if people can't see the detailing of the dress. As if they will be able to see it from where they are sitting in the ceremony.
