We are doing a signature mat where they can write best wishes and marriage advice.

I forgot to answer my own question. We got the photo guestbook and our host will be harassing - oops - encouraging people to take a polaroid picture and write a few words. We're also framing wedding pictures of our parents and siblings for the table. Finally, we're going to put an album of our e-pictures and a scrapbook of our last 5 years together on the table for people to flip through.

We're going to have pre-cut fabric squares with fabric pens. People are going to write their congrats on them and my mom is going to make a quilt with them.

I really honestly don't have any idea what to do for my guestbook. I bought a ton of those scrapbook tags from my JoAnns when they went out of business, so I'd like to use those, but I like the idea of getting every guests photo also, so I'd love to do a photo guestbook. I guess we'll just see *runs off to start a thread*

We are also doing the photo guest book, though I will be having someone take pictures with a digital camera rather than a polaroid.

Along with that, we are going to have quilting squares for each guest to sign. After the wedding, MIL is going to make a hanging quilt for us. The center of the quilt will be the personalized section of our aisle runner, and the signature squares will surround that.

Another good thread! Our guest book will contain the RSVP cards of our guest, and each guest will be encouraged to find and sign near their RSVP cards. In addition to the guest book, we'll also have a floral arrangement on the table, a framed engagement photo of us, and above the table, we'll have old family wedding photos framed and hung.

I've cut out scrapbooking tags already for our guestbook - we're getting everyone to put their thoughts/wishes/advice on a tag for me to put in the scrapbook with the picture of them (one photographer has photo duty at the beginning of the reception while the second one is doing the after-ceremony photos!).

I've also purchased a photo mat that we want everyone to just sign their names to :)

But we are doing the signature mat.. I will go table to table to get it signed :) Since are are having 50 guests or less I think I can manage to get round to visiting everyone :)

We are doing a photo mat and I really want to do a signature scrapbook. We are going to have our guests write some advise or well wishes on differt pieces of paper then put them into a notebook. I love the pic idea we might have to do that!!

We also had a signature mat. Instead of a picture, we had a cute little poem. Now, we have one of our wedding pictures in it and I love it! :)

I just made a wish bowl.. using lilac and white index cards that they could write a wish on and a big glass bowl. Then I'll go back later and put them into a scrap book. We got some really nice messages from it!

We are doing the signature photo matt thing to. I am going to be setting it up on a table but then I thought about a painting isle (sp) and have them sign it. With either our engagement photo or a nice little saying in the photo spot.
