Honeymoon

whats the plan (or what did u do....) for your honeymoon? I guess Ijust want to know when everyones lieving and where you picked and why and maybe some fun thing you want to do (will do there) and all the fun details!!!

We're going to actully have a night wedding so the reception will be done w/ SO LATE!!! But, my fh still want to lieve that night because for some reason we love driving at night and arriving at sunrise..... I told him we will be tired but he said we can sleep in since he weddings so late!!! (oh well we love the night!!) i think it will be a romantic fun drive. We're renting a cabin a few hours from our hometown. It's by guatalpe river in the woods right by the water!!! Are plan i think is to just light a fire (we're having a fall wedding) and to spend a few days going on hikes, cuddling, watching movies, talking in frount of a fire, and such (to cold to swim but we can do some fun nature walks and such!!!) we love to just hangout together!! Have romantic picnics and such. So simple but both of us aren't found of comericial stuff and enjoy this kind of stuff!!!

That sounds like such a romantic honeymoon! We might not be taking one, due to shortage of funds. It sucks paying for everything on your own! But if we do decide to take one, it will be to either Mexico or Dominican Republic. Have no idea what activities we will do if we go!

We actually didn't take one....between moving and the wedding, we had hardly any money left last year! We stayed at a hotel the night of the wedding, and did some fun day trips during the rest of our vacation. We're taking some kind of vacation this year for our anniversary, but haven't planned much yet, since we're hoping I'll be pregnant by the time our anniversary rolls around!

We went back & forth with it. We really wanted to go to Italy but it's expensive. We finally decided that this is going to be our only honeymoon so we're going to go for broke and go. Going in November would have saved us some $$ and we were okay with waiting a few months after the wedding, however September is just a better month to go (warmer & less rain). So we're getting married on September 15 and leaving for Italy on September 20. We're doing a tour (www.goaheadtours.com) and going to Naples, Sorrento & Rome.

I want to go all out for the HM because this is a one vocation I dont mind spending money on (of course we do have a limit.) Our wedding is saturday night (6pm ceremony) and the next day we are having party at my parents house for the close family and friends. So we are leaving on Monday flying to Rome, will get there tuesday morning, do some sight seeing and spend a night in a hotel, and on Wednesday we are bording a ship and taking a cruise. We are going Italy, Greece and Turkey. 12 Days total! I cant wait! I dont know what exactly we will be doing in each port yet, we are still researching that!

Our wedding was on a Saturday and Monday night we flew out for our 2 week European honeymoon. We stayed with family friends for part of the time and they showed us around Germany and The Czech Republic. Then DH and I were totally on our own for 4 days and toured 4 countries by car. It was so much fun!

We have no set plans for the honeymoon. Right now we're thinking of the British Virgin Islands and St. Lucia

We are actually planning on taking ours in the fall and going to Arkansas to a place that has cabins in the trees, it looks fun and romantic plus I'll get to see some beautiful fall foliage.

We live in Iowa and decided that we were going to drive to Pigeon Forge, TN for our honeymoon. We decided to go there because it was cheap. We didn't have a ton of money at the time to spend on a HM, so we wanted to go someplace that we could drive to and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to do stuff. I think our whole HM including gas & hotel cost until $800.

We just canceled our Hawaiian honeymoon as we're planning to move cross-country. :waiting: We aren't making any substitute arrangements until we know when Brian will be relocating. We are, however, keeping the time off so that gives us a week-long window of opportunity.

My inlaws own a cabin in a resort.. so we went there :D It was a couple of hours away from our town.

Fh and I just booked our hm... we are having a saturday evening wedding and my parents are hosting a brunch the next morning. We are leaving Sunday night (at like 11:30 pm) and arriving in Cancun Monday morning. Then we plan an visiting Xcaret and some of the Mayan Ruins. And then just relaxing at the resort! We decided to go all inclusive since fh and I have a small budget to begin with. We fly home the following Monday (October 1) in the morning... get back home sometime Monday afternoon.
