How did you let your guests know what table they were seated at?

We'll have cards on a table during the cocktail hour with the guests name and table number.

Oh yeah... Duh. To answer the original question that you asked... They are going on a table in one of the other rooms. I forget what they call the room but it's the one right in front of the ball room. Don't worry I'll have pictures in about a month.

The original question is a general of how and where I guess. I can't wait to see all of your frames all set up on the table :)

DH and I just printed out lists with the guests name and then table number. We had a few copies made (on nice paper in a nice font) and had them on the guestbook table just outside the enterance to the main reception room. We didn't assign seats, just tables. We also didn't do placecards :hide: But we didn't feel the need and it's not always all that common around here...

We just assigned tables, and had table cards set up on the guest book table. It seems to be the pretty standard thing around here.

We are also just doing table (not seat). I love Jillian's frames, but just don't think we have anywhere to set up that many. So I need to figure out something that will look nice but not take up a lot of room.

Ohh Lisa I am so surprised you like my frames! You know since you picked them out. My friend did a list like belle67 but she had it framed. It was hung on an eisle at the reception entrance.

I do like belle67's and something like that framed would look really nice. I'll have to go out to the winery again soon and see where I can set something up and how much room I have.

These are great ideas , very useful. I think having some kind of seating chart, cards etc. is always a plus.
