I'm trying to pick two or three entrees to offer at or RD. If you could just vote for what you would order I think it will help me decide what might be most liked by our guests as well. Thank you. (I or Chris have had all of these from the restaurant we are going to so we already know they are all good)

Seafood Alfredo in Northern Pink Sauce. Shrimp, scallops and crabmeat in Alfredo sauce with a touch of marinara sauce. Served on a bed of pasta.
Baked Lasagna. Bette Ann's home made lasagna with ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiana cheese marinara sauce and beef.
Broiled Stuffed Grouper. Fresh grouper stuffed with jumbo lump crabmeat.
Seafood Platter Broiled. Fresh broiled scallops, shrimp, fish and crabcake.
Chicken Chesapeake. Fresh grilled chicken breast, topped with crab cake and covered with our special seafood topping.
Chicken Parmigiana. Fresh breast of chicken, breaded and sauteed, smothered with mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce over pasta.
Veal Parmigiana. Fresh veal breaded and sauteed, smothered with mozzarella cheese, topped with marinara sauce.
Filet Chesapeake. Filet mignon topped with crab cake, covered with our special seafood topping.
Filet Mignon. 5 oz
Center Cut Pork Chops. 8 oz

Chicken parmigiana for me...with lasagna or filet mignon in a close 2nd (& 3rd). Everything looks great. Do you have any vegetarians attending?

Oh, I meant to include that in my post, no vegetarians or other special diets to consider.

Anything with crab cakes.

Oh I am so hungry now...

Personally, I would choose something fish, something chicken, something beef. Covers everyone. And if you chose the filet mignon or pork chops, that would take care of anyone who doesn't like italian food (or anything in sauces) :shrug2:

Kathy, I was kind of considering a chesapeake theme. Having the stuffed grouper, chicken chesapeake and filet chesapeake. I know not everyone likes crab cakes, but they could easily be taken off and they are left with the fish, chicken or filet. I am not a fan of crab cakes in most restaurants but theirs are YUMMY.

Oh, I just realized I have one of their old menus, they have a lobster ravioli :drool2:

You might want to consider having one with no shellfish, in case of allergies.

ETA: Everything on the menu looks delish-- I don't think you can make the wrong choice!

That is a really good point Kate.

I don't think you'll have complaints from anyone - the whole menu looks amazing! Lobster Ravioli - I think even I would try that

I might see if they will add some of the lobster ravioli to the appetizer trays we are ordering. They just serve it with a little of their wonderful seafood sauce on top, I think it would work as an appetizer.

I would do a chicken, beef and a seafood. Just to cover all the bases. All of it would be ideal. It all sounds WONDERFUL!!!!

Lisa, I'd either order the Chicken Chesapeake or the Broiled Seafood Platter. It all sounds fabulous.

THe only thing that I would order is the FILET MIGNON. I don't like seafood, so those are all out for me. And well you can never go wrong with great cuts of meat for a fancy steak.:laugh3:

Beware of the vegetarian guest. I would order either 2 or 6, not big on red meat or seafood.

Some might have allergies too.

All of our RD guests are family or close friends and I know none are vegetarians.

and I didn't bother to go back and see if I had posted it yet :) I couldn't remember if I had in here or in my journal.

I do need to check on allergies though. I know our families don't have any. But not sure about the son of my college friends that will be there. He is the only one I would question.

Some people, like my MIL, are allergic to everything, so sometimes there isn't much you can really do, you know?

Her list of foods she is allergic to is longer than the list of foods she isn't allergic too :shuffle:

I didn't realize this was for your RD and not your reception (must.read.intros.) so I was wondering how you knew everyone's allergies and eating habits! I was like, "Wow, she must really be on top of things!"

Honestly none of it sounds appealing to me, if I had to have something it would be the lasagna.

I am not a fish or sea food eater so it was a little hard for me but the chicken choice with out sea food would be the one I picked!
