another hair question

Did all of your girls in the wedding party go with you to get their hair done?

My BM wants her sister to do her hair instead of getting it done with us at the salon. Her sister was in beauty school so she will do a fine job on her hair, but I still wish she'd join us at least for the experience of being together, part of the wedding...KWIM?

Yup, we all went to the same salon to have our hair done, and it was fun. We were the only people in teh salon for most of the morning :)

We are all doing ours at the same salon, but mostly because nobody else lives out here and they wouldn't know anyone else. In my opinion, the only way a bride should require their BM to get their hair done at the same salon is if they are paying for everyone.

My mom & sister went with me to have their hair done in the same salon. (my sister was my maid of honor). I didn't have any other attendants .

I'm sorry, I didn't word that very well. Or at least should have said I know you are not requiring them too. And I totally get what you are saying about just the fun girl experience of everyone at the salon. Maybe she can get her hair done by her sister and then come join you?

Are you paying for the bridal party to all have their hair done at the salon?
She may not have the $$ to have her hair done at the salon.

If you are offering to pay, i would think she would want to come to the salon with everyone else.

Either way, it sounds like she has made arrangements to make sure her hair looks nice.

I agree that it would be more fun to all go together but wondered if $$ might be the issue.

it would be $30 or less to have her hair done, and I don't know if there is a money issue or not, she hasn't said anything and I haven't asked.

I was not planning on paying for the wp hair.

I sometimes have bridal parties that come in and one person out of the party goes somewhere else just because that is their regular hairdresser... I understand the wanting everyone to be there together. I think it is part of the experiance!

Not all of my girls went with me. A few of them have their trusted stylist so I respected that. In theory having all the girls together is fun, but it's nearly impossible with larger parties.
