James posted an update in Rmenda's pregnancy journal:
Greetings all...this is James..Rmenda's Hubby....

Hailey came out screaming at 8:27 this morning! Rmenda did great during the operation. I am so proud of her.
Lil Miss Hailey weighed in at 7lbs 9 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long! She is healthy but there was fluid in her lungs. One lung was cleared out and there is still some left in her other one. They have kept her in the nursery all day on oxygen and antibiotics to help her. She is improving very quickly and the Dr. is not expecting any problems.
Rmenda got to see her real quick after she was born....but did not get to see her again untill about 4:30 this afternoon. She got to hold her for the first time and see her without being drugged up! It was well worth the wait. She only got to hold her for about 30 minutes before they had to take her back to the nursery. They are expecting her to be in the room with Rmenda by tomorrow morning!


I wish both Hailey and Rmenda speedy recoveries!!
