How big is too big?

I'm referring to pictures, of course. I read here the size requirement is the same as it was on UW. I just don't remember what that was.

We're allowing a little bigger than UW with 500 x 500 pixels (UW was 480 x 480). The only reason we're setting a size limit at all is because much bigger than that can stretch the screen and load slowly for those on slower connections. :)

Thanks Gina! I have another picture question... I tried to copy and paste my pictures from photobucket and it won't work.:bawling: I tried clicking on the "insert image" above and putting the website address too. Nothing. Help.

When you were C&P from photobucket were you chosing the the option with the [ img] tags around it?

I ALWAYS copy that one and forget that the tags are already there. I try and paste it into the insert image button. It doesn't work. :lol:

Nah...I wasn't using the [img] tags. I found another post about shutterfly and that solved my problem. In the User Cp, under edit options, I had to change the last thing to "enhanced interface" to work for me. Now I can post pics! Yay! Thanks though.

In regards to the 500 X 500, is something that would be 533 X 400 acceptable since it is less pixels than the 500 X 500? Or is 500 the limit regardless of what the other side is?

500 is the max no matter what the other side is.
