We are using a quaich (loving cup) probably surrounded by flowers.

This weekend I promise I will take photos of all my wedding stuff (I'm such a slacker, I haven't taken any of my FG baskets, toasting goblets, quaich, or my recently finished invitations!)

I tried sticking it on our tree the first year we had it but it was a little wobbly (its crystal and chrome so its a bit heavy). I was afraid of it falling off and breaking before the wedding so I took it down. It comes with little rings and such you stick inside it to fit the tree better, so I am going to give it another shot this year. It also comes with a crystal base so that you can display it and right now I have it in our living room. :)

Oooh! I loove the willow tree figurine! FH and I aren't having a wedding cake... we're going to have strawberry shortcake instead... but maybe I could put it next to the guest book or something... hmm.

You could easily paint the hair too! I remember someone painted their cake topper and it turned out nice... she painted a camo shirt on the groom or something.

I have my mom's aunt and uncle's topper, and I'd really like to use it, if I can. It would make a great "something old," especially since they were happily married over 50 years before my aunt passed away a few years ago. It needs some work, though - there's still frosting dried on it, the veil and the fabric flower may need replacing, and I have no idea if the paint is actually safe to come in contact with food!
