Help!!!! Will 2 Tapered Rings Fit Together As A Set?????!!!!!!!!!

I Need Some Advice Ladies!!!!!
My Engagment Ring Is Quite Wide On Top And Tapered As It Wraps Around My Finger Towards The Palm Of My Hand And I Am Considering A Wedding Band To Go With It But It Is Also Tapered The Same Way. Will This Combo Of The Two Work Together Side By Side? Two Tapered Rings? Do You Think There Will Be A Huge Space Inbetween Them? I Havnt Been Able To Try Them On Together Because The Ring Is About To Be Made From Scratch But I Wanted To Find Out From Someone Who Also Has Or Knows Someone With A Set Of 2 Tapered Ring Before We Put Our Deposit Down!

My engagement ring was tapered at the bottom too and our family jeweler has my engagement ring now and is making it the same width all the way around so it fits flush with my wedding band. My thought is that there will be some sort of space with two tapered rings at the moment but I am not sure.

If I'm understanding you correctly, then no, there shouldn't be a space. It's tapered at the back to be more comfortable in the crease at that joint. If you put two tapered rings together, then they should touch all the way around. It wouldn't work that way if your finger was a perfect cylinder, but it's not.
