The that counts is the one he did this past year, and it was very emotional and sincere.
Dec. 31st, 2005 and this before we went to New York to go see the ball drop.
We went to my mom and dad's house, and he talked to my dad privately. And while I was talking to my mom my dad pulled my mom off the couch.
Marc stood me up and looked me deep in my eye and started his words.
Marc: Baby, I love you and by any means there are no actual words that I can really express. Like your beauty and the feeling I get when I am near, see, smell, or feel you. Things that happened in the past with me not being the man I needed to be for our son and you, made me into something that I am proud to say I am A MAN.
The other one is when I was pg with our son with out my parents premission even though I was of age. I just wanted him to get my fathers premission.

My hand shaked really bad as if like I had either to much sugar or it had just dropped. My mom and dad looked on at me and Marc. And in the back of my head I am thinking to myself I wish that my other siblings and family members were there to see this including our son. But, most of all how private and intimate it was just to have my parents and us there.
I said, Yes I will marry you Marcus J. Ray and to become your wife is all I was looking forward to all my life even as a child. The day that I met you I know somehow and someway you were met to be in my life. And you are here baby here in front of my face. And he slide on my engagment ring the funny part about it was oddly shaped and I loved it.
My parents clapped, my mom did emailing and the texting and my father did the cellphone calling and the homephone calling to everybody.
And we went to NewYork that night and celebrated with friends for two day stay. We came back home and we had alot of missed messages on our home phone and emailings.
The other one was when I was pg with our son and that was unofficial, and the next one was with my parents premisson in March 2004 without the ring.
