It's time to do my rehearsal invitations, and I have no idea how to word them.

Most of the ones I've seen make the dinner front and center:

The excited couple, Jenna Stevens and Matthew Jones

invite you to join them at their rehearsal dinner

Dinner to be held at Santiago Grill

1324 Avenue B

San Antonio, Texas

on Friday, May 20

at 7:30 p.m.

immediately following

the wedding rehearsal

To me this invites disaster. The rehearsal is the important part - not the dinner! Immediatly following the rehearsal? That doesn't tell anyone anything.

I need a way to word this that makes the rehearsal front and center and THEN the dinner. Any ideas for me? Thanks.

That is great! I think we are going to have to sponsor the rehearsal dinner so I am going to copy that, too.

Heh I've only ever seen it done word of mouth, actual invites for it is cool though.

Word of mouth with our friends and family would equal several calls from each person asking us to remind them of the date and time again, as well as everyone being totally lost because they didn't know where the church was.
