Holy crap, I'm getting married!!!!!

Ok, so it isn't really planning, but wasn't sure where else this would go?

Ok, so here's the deal. When I proposed, I knew what it meant. I knew that Proposal = Marriage.

But ever since we've started planning, every now & again, we'll be planning away and it'll just hit me...OMG, I'm getting married!

Not in a bad way or anything, just a..."Hard to believe" kinda thing, I guess?

May have to do with my health problems and I just never imagined myself here. Hell, docs say I should've been dead long ago. :dunno: they told Mom 1 year, then 2 years, then 4, then 6, then 10, and 14, then said well, actually we don't really know, we're just guessing.

That may have something to do with it. I dunno...

Anyone else have this sort of thing?

I feel that way sometimes too. Probably because I had a 5 year plan after I graduated from college and getting married wasn't in it!

I hadn't met FH yet though and now I can't wait to be married to him!

I swore that I would marry once and that's it. If I didn't get it right the first time, then it wasn't meant to be.

Well, then I met my best friend...my soulmate...the person I can tell anything to...and when you know it's right, you know it's right :)

And yes, the more details we get ironed out or sorted through...the more real it becomes :) I can't wait to be Mrs. Jer :D

Oh lord, Jer, all the freakin' time....I got my bridal shower invitation in the mail today, and was like, OMG! I'M GETTING MARRIED!!! SOON!!! It's scary....lol.

YEah, me too. Never thought I'd get married, not that I didn't want to but I was striking out left right and center. Its hard to believe in that "magic" when you keep hittin pop up outs, until you hit that golden home run. LOL!

I had that feeling when I picked up and tried on my wedding dress. I also just had that feeling yesterday when i went to go pick up my wedding band from the jewelry store. Holy crap this is happening.

Most days I really don't feel different. I had a shower last month and that is when it started to sink in.
When I am trying to fall asleep, that is when I really start thinking about it. I start to cry and hyperventilate and all that. :rolleyes: I just want the day to be here so I can finally be married to the greatest guy!

Most of the time I am too busy planning/worrying/etc to think about getting married.

Truely I try NOT too think about it :) When I do, I get nervous/excited/giddy :)

I never gave much thought about my wedding until May ..then realized..OMG.. I am getting married in September..I gotta get busy !!

When it hit the exact 2 month mark.. I got really excited/nervous.. So many things to do and not enough money.. Plus getting more excited as it gets closer :)

Yes - I know exactly what you mean!! I will not be thinking of anything even remotely wedding related, and then it will hit me out of the blue - OMG I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes it's so intense it literally takes my breath away and I start crying.

Now that it's getting so close - 39 days till he's here from England, 69 days till the wedding - it's happening more and more frequently.

For me it's more of a gradual build up I think. Small things, like my bridal shower being planned, is causing more excitement. I'm not sure it all feels real just yet though. Hah, it probably won't feel real until we've been married for a year or something!

It HIT ME .. OMG-I am getting married NEXT MONTH !!

Then I also realized our 1yr anniversary is this month.. Time flies..

I didn't start planning our wedding until like late April and now it already August.

It dawned on Kathy and I last night...We have two, maybe three more goodbyes. That's it. Have to look at it like that. It's so hard to part. :( But only a few more times, and she'll be here for good. :):)

I didn't get that feeling... until the day I got married. I got ready so fast I was out the door 20 mins early and we had to go around the block a few times!

Oh Jer, I know EXACTLY what you are going through. With being with Alex for 6 years and just over 3 years being engaged....I'm ready to be married. But now that its SO soon (44 days to be exact) it just seems so weird. It seems like we have been waiting for this day forever...and now that its here....it just seems so strange. I'm totally ready for it but its just like "Whoa...I really am getting married next month." You are having these feelings already, wait until you are 1 and 2 months away from the wedding! :lol:

happens to me every now and again. I also have periods where I get sentimental for my single day's I've been single for so long! How will I ever get by with being part of a twosome??! :D
