:excited::jump4joy:FINALLY I CAN POST MY WEDDING DAY STORY!:jump4joy:

It was the most amazing day:happysigh::floating:

It will take me couple of days as I had to go right back to work after the HM and still getting settled back into the normal life.

THURSDAY - 8/23 REHERSAL DAY

That day was CRAZY! I had to get a lot done and the rehersal was a 6pm. I though that I had a lot of time but than DH distracted me with work stuff and I did not start working on my list till later that day. He needed to send application out to transfer back to his old job and even thought they knew he is getting married that weekend they had to have it within couple of hrs. SO we got that done. Than DH Had to just pick up his GM from the bus stop, got to a DR. app. (why he had it that day is beyond me) pick up tuxes, get ready for the Rehersal, get a hair cut. I had to go finish getting gifts for the parents, get something to pack all the gifts in, get paper to do my "guest book", find a pillow to up in a "ring chest" , redisgn and print the guest book pages, and cut them, cancle gym memebership (last day for us to get a refund) get ready for the rehersal dinner, pack the gifts, get some more candy for the candy buffet, finish the candy buffet and get everything packed into the car. SO I started that after 12 pm and it took long time but after 3 I was done with all the shopping and such. Than it was time to pack all the gifts, finish candy buffet, bring the GM to a post office since DH was not back yet and it was almost 5 pm. I was running so late and he was too. Of course he had nothing to wear and I had to iron his cloths, so I just took like a 2 min shower to refresh got dressed, some of the GMs came over because they did not know where they were going (the place is a good 30 min away too) so I had them load up their cars with all this junk. Than we were waiting for one more GM and he did not get there till like 10 of 6!!!:happysigh: So we were all speeding and we got there 20 after 6 just to find out that MaOH, and one of my BM was still not there because they got lost with directions from map quest after I told everyone NOT to use mapquest but the directions that I gave them! But finally everyone got there on time and we started. We just did the walking in and out and that was in. It took us maybe 15 min. And off we went to the dinner. We had a great food and everything was relaxing. We gave out the gifts which everyone loved and than we went home. I only have couple pics from the dinner. No one took pics of the rehersal itself.


OH and DH still did not pick up his tux that day. He had to go on Friday! I was so upset because I got so much done in short amount of time but I think he went to some stores instead of getting that stuff done. I thought he would help me but nope!

FRIDAY 8/24

Friday I just relaxed, went to get my nails done, went to Kohls to get some cloths for the HM. I decided that I will sleep at my house with my Dh instead of sleeping at my parents because I knew that I would not fall asleep at their house. I was so happy to fall asleep in his arms!

SATURDAY! 8/25/07 OUR WEDDING DAY!

I got up at 7:30am to get all my things ready! I slept soo good that night! I got ready and waited for my girls to pick me up at around 9. They of course were late but that is ok. I loaded my things into a car, gave DH kiss, told him I have the rings (I did not trust him to remeber to take them with him:laugh3:) We got to my parents house around 9"30-9:45 or so. Couple BM were still missing and so was the GM (V.) that was doing our hair. THe makeup girl came at 10am and started setting up. I told the Bms and the hair guy to be at my parents house at 9 (i knew the BM would be late) but I did not expect to get a phone call 10:30 from the V. asking for directions and what time I want him to be there. I was like "you were suppose to be here at 9am, you better get going". He was over at around 11.

THe whole time leading up to the wedding I thought that I would be very nervouse and I was not at all. I was eating and laughing and just so calm. EVERYONE was freaking out, and I was just laughing because i did not get what the big deal was:rofl:. No one wanted to eat so I had to eat all that food myself.
We were getting ready and having a lot of fun. Finally at around 3:30 photographer showed up and I still did not have my hair or make up done. We were running so late!

Finally I got ready we took some pics and we headed over to the ceremony site. One thing that I did not mention is that when I get stressed/nerveuse I have to go. SO all that time on a way there I kept telling my parents that I have to go. But when we got there that feeling just went away. I just watched everyone line up and get ready from the limo with my dad. It was nice to have a moment alone with my dad. He almost cried but I told him not to or we both would be crying!
Oh I forgot, as soon as we got there the guys came running all freaked out because they did not have the rings. I gave them the rings and that is when everything started. But the look on their faces was priceless.
The photog. took some pics and then I saw all the girls go into the chapel and it was just me and my dad outside (and couple people taking pics) and than it was my turn. I freaked out because it turned out that my dress keapt on falling down making it too long and I was freaking out that I would trip. I could not walk at all. SO I had to hold my dress and b-k in one hand and hold on to my dad. And it was finally time for us to walk in. THe fact that my dress was too long was great because it distracted me from the fact that I was getting nerveuse again.
Finally we approached my DH and the ceremony began. It was so hard to move around (to do the unity candle etc) and the girls had to keep on fixing my dress. I dont remeber much, just the look on my DH face, he was so freaked out, I was not sure if he will start crying or if he will start laughing. I also remeber seeing my parents sitting in the whole row alone. We told couple of my aunts and uncles to sit in the first row but they went to the second one. MY heart just about broke. I almost started crying and I wanted to stop and tell them to sit with my parents. THat is the moment when I missed my uncles and aunts from Poland, because they would never alow my parents to sit all alone. I was (and still am) heartbroken about that. But they took it very well.

After the ceremony we went to the garden to take some pics. We had a great time and relaxed. After that it was time for the reception.
WE were introduced and than did a traditional Polish bread, salt and vodka sharing. DH got the vodka I got the water, and than I had to explain to everyone that the vodka meant that he would rule in the house. He was very happy about that lol. Iactually did not want the vodka because I still cant drink it after my bachellorette party.
Then we did our first dance. It was a nice moment alone. After that the dinner started. But we told the DJ we wanted to have people dance all during the dinner. And that is what we got. DH and I went and did our rounds with all the tables and than we had fun. We ate some food and danced. Than we did our cake cutting and than dance with my dad and his mom,aniversary dance and than open dancing. SOmewhere there the girls fixed my dress so I could dance (safety pins were a blessing). Everyone loved the wedding, place, centerpices and just everything. We had soo much fun it was unreal.

It turned out better than expected. And even the things I did not really care about and had hard time picking till the last min. (music, CAKE) turned out better than I wanted. I did not have a hair trail and did not know exactly what I wanted, and it kind of fell apart in the limo and it turned out beautiful like it was suppose to be this way (the curls were suppose to be up and nothing hanging down but some fell out and it turned out great) I was a fun day and I want to do it again!

OHH Thank You!!! I did have a great photographer! ANd he actually does not do the package that I got anymore becuase he is sooo popular that he can charge what he wants now, but is still a little less expensive than most in my area!
