Carrie's Umbrella's!!
Feel free to post comments, compliments and questions!
Our umbrellas were simple to make. We ordered the black and white umbrellas for the bridal party in bulk from ebay, as well as the large black golf umbrella for us, the bride and groom.
For the monogram we purchased large white iron on appliqués from Joann fabrics and used regular dye to turn them blue. We then ironed the appliqués onto the umbrellas according to the instructions – to keep the umbrella material from becoming damaged by the heat of the iron you just need to place a piece of white cotton material, such as a t-shirt, between the iron and the umbrella/appliqué.
It did rain on our wedding day so the umbrellas came in quite handy. We still have several of them and appliqués are still intact and look great!http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/GreeneWedding/SCANNED%20Book%201/Umbrella.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/GreeneWedding/SCANNED%20Book%201/umbrellas.jpg

The only “in action” pic I have… doesn’t show the monogram though :( http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/GreeneWedding/SCANNED%20Book%201/Getting%20Ready/111R.jpg
