I have many extras left over:

Tulle
Bells
Bubbles
Programs
Coloring Books
Goodie Bags
Chocolate Roses
Gems (colored rocks in the bottom of centerpieces)

what did you guys do with your leftovers? Sell them, give them away, garage sale, ????

The only thing I know for SURE right now that I'm doing...the goodie bags are going to be given out to trick or treaters for Halloween. But what should I do with the rest??

Specifically...chocolate roses, programs and coloring books (which have our name and date on the covers). Is there any uses I can put these towards??

Any ideas appreciated!! TIA

Programs....keep a bunch, ask family if they want any for souvenirs and then get rid of them, I think

Chocolate roses...are they personalized? If not, make them part of gift packages for family...who doesn't want some chocolate with their gift?

Coloring books...keep several of them. Give them as gifts to your future children...I mean, who doesn't want to have their kids color in their wedding books? Cause that's super cute. And then give them to other kids you know that might like them...no one cares about the date on the front...or if you can change the cover at all, problem solved :)

hope that helps!

I bought 99% of my stuff off ebay..so I sold it on ebay afterward. I think I recouped most of the money I orginally paid :)

I ordered too many napkins with our names and wedding date printed on it. I still use them napkins a year later. I use one of a morning to set my cup of coffee on. (I stopped drinking coffee during my pregnancy and just recently started drinking coffee again).

I had cups, paperplates leftover.. I used some at my baby shower ..some at my sisters baby shower..and still have some left :)

I love Jessica's idea of saving some of the coloring books for your future children.

Anything personalized I either kept or used (such as napkins) or sent some to family members who couldn't come to the wedding. Programs I saved a few and tossed the rest.

Non personalized stuff I donated to a thrift store in town that raises money for a group foster home for older kids. (it made Chris happy to have a tax write off for some of the wedding stuff :) )

Sold some, gave away some, threw away some other stuff.

It really just depended on what it was. Anything that I felt was worth some money I tried to sell. Anything that was just sort of not really worth anything or wasn't anything I felt anybody should pay money for I gave away.

I've sold a few of the things. The thing that we mostly have left over is a ton of candles. They're stashed away, and I figure I just won't have to worry about buying any for a LONG time. My sister is getting married in September, so I figure I'll see if there's anything that she can use. As far as the personalized things, I DIYed all of our programs, etc, and I made the perfect amount. The only left over was the one that I kept for our scrapbook. I do have a bunch of personalized cake favor boxes left over. I'm thinking a cute label of some sort stuck over the engravement will solve that so we can use them for other little gifts of something.

I think what you can sell on Ebay that is a good idea!

I saved just about one of everything, like favors, some smaller decorations, like bells, and bubble wand, napkins, that sort of thing.

Sold a lot of stuff. Sold some stuff to some gals on here, then also posted on a Canadian website and sold a lot more on there.

I also set a date with myself, that if I didn't sell everything by end of summer, that I would throw the rest of it away. Summer came and went so fast, I did throw some things away. I kept my blue tulle, and my centerpieces.

I hope you are able to get rid of things.

I gave mine away to friends that were getting married. Though in your case, I would keep the chocolate, never know when a chocolate craving is going to hit :)
