I thought this was a story (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hv37TIYeiYHuXnoTjJv3AdbBA2TQ) worth sharing here. I think I'd have been a blubbering fool if I was this woman! :sappy:

MANSFIELD -- A teen couple didn't have the $150 to pay for their wedding photos in 1980 and thought the pictures were gone forever.
Eighty-year-old Jim Wagner took the wedding pictures and recently came across them, then set out to find the bride, Karen Cline. He walked into the Taylor's Country Diner last week, where Karen works.

"I didn't recognize him, I did not know who he was and he said maybe this will help you remember and he handed me the photo album from twenty-seven years ago," says Karen Cline. "He gave me the photo album and I opened it up and there it was, there were the pictures from my wedding album."

"She gave me a big hug and then another big hug and another big hug and I said I got more hugs than I got in a month," says Wagner. "And she laughed and cried, laughed and cried, laughed and cried."

Karen and Mark Cline will celebrate their twenty-seventh anniversary Thursday. They have two sons and a daughter, a granddaughter and are expecting a grandson in January. But they didn't have anything to help them remember their special day in 1980.

"They're priceless," Karen says. "My mom's gone. My husband's parents are gone, our grandparents are gone and there they were on one of the most special days of our lives!"

Karen wrote a check to Jim for $150 to square her account.

:sappy: that is one of the best stories I've read in a long time. It was so nice of him to look her up, and not charge her interest :giggle:

just saw this v. old story and it reminded me of a conversation i had the other day...
i have friends who have been married for 18 years...
they hired a photog for the wedding, contract and all, they got the proofs, but then he skipped town... and was nowhere to be found. b/c they were copyrighted no one would let them get prints made...
apparently after 15 yrs copyright laws expire in CO, so just a few years ago they were finally able to get prints made from the proofs.... so that they could have some normal size wedding photos...
