I've had 2 so far, and its stuff that would never in a million years happen.
1) We were all sitting around like it was the rehearsal or something and the BP were opening their gifts, I went to the kitchen and looked at the calendar....everyone was a day behind the whole week, except our guests. Our guests were waiting for us and the B&G didn't show up to the wedding!!!! We missed our own wedding day!
2) We show up to the ceremony site and its like a deserted island or something....none of the guests showed up, and then I remembered that we forgot to send invites out!

I had one where my dress was not ready and then for some reason my In laws would not let me sit with the groom and I ended up sitting in the back of the hall which was not where we had booked and not decorated and I was in a wedding dress that I had borrowed.
That one was a relief to wake up from

I've had one scary wedding nightmare...but thankfully not recently!
I keep on dreaming that either during ceremony and reception, I stop the wedding. And the reason for that is I'm going to A.C Moore and Michaels to get more wedding decorations.

Thats funny Kya!!!
I remembered that I had another one really early in our planning....I showed up to the reception and we had all of these basketball crockpots at the centerpieces and they were filled with cocktail weiners, and thats what we had for our food....it was terrible. I woke up in a cold sweat! LOL!

I have the same nightmares over and over:
*it's the day of the wedding and we realized that the invites didn't go out
*I forgot my veil at home and had to try to buy another one and the only choices they had were red ones and old used torn ones.
*we get to the reception and there are no flowers, no decorations and the tables aren't setup.
:wow:
Oh dear, I had one where my FMIL had made my dress all wrong! The sleeves were awful 80's three-quarter styled sleeves and it just looked horrible.
Here is my last one that I had, I wrote it in my LJ it was so funny:
Chris and I were sleeping at our house, and I had arranged for my grandpa to bring over his camper. I looked outside and the camper was there, along with a sporty white car. I had no idea why that was there, but it was dark and I didn't feel like finding out at the moment.
I went to bed when suddenly there was a knock on the door, I looked and there was a police officer looking in my window! So I go answer the door and there are about three police officers out there and they come in and search my house, not a bad search though, I think they were looking for something they knew I had no part in.
(I don't remember clearly but there was a part with my MOH that occured during the "night")
So I go back to bed and wake up in the morning to sunlight streaming in the windows and my entire side of the bridal party except my MOH, including my mom and aunts, and they are waking me up because I need to get ready. I was incredibly disoriented but I knew I was confused because I hadn't even gotten the invitations out yet! Yet here they are telling me it's the big day! Not only that but it was 10:30 so I start laughing like a mad woman and say "We were supposed to be there at 9:30" (hair appointment) So we usher some of the ladies out the door and I get in the shower.
I get out of the shower and I'm getting dressed (this is all taking place at my aunts house by the way, except it's exactly like when my grandparents lived there first) and I see my dad and my brother walking around in denim skirts and bright red shirts with suspenders.
It didn't register right away but then I went and talked to my dad and was like, "so the kilts were sent to you then I guess?" and then I realized what they were wearing and that those WERE the kilts. I began flipping out. Here it is the day of the wedding, I never got invitations out so I knew there wouldn't be very many people there and the kilt shop sends me DENIM SKIRTS (that say DENIM something on them!) and I never even got to have my bridal shower (I knew this, I didn't say it). I called the kilt shop and started YELLING. Boy did I go bridezilla, because I knew there was no way to fix it in time for the photos and the wedding, I went off.
That's the last thing I remember.

Oh lord...
The latest one was that I looked all scary. My dress wasn't my dress and it looked like I had stuck my finger in an electric socket and let me nephews paint my face.....
What is with the NO Decoration dreams, I think those are the worst.

That's the part I hate the most - waking up and feeling like you've lived the nightmare, and it spoils your mood for the whole day!!!

My reoccuring is that the wedding comes around and nothing is ready. We're at my mom's and she and Patrick are trying to tell me that we'll just reschedule and it'll be ok while I just sit there and cry.

My wedding nightmares have included
1. Being at the site (which is and hour and half from where we are getting dressed) and I forget something. I mention it to my MOH and she shoves me down the hill, that of course, the bottom of the hill is a lake.
2. That I put the wrong directions on the direction cards and no one showed.
3. And most recently, that his ex-girl friend showed up. Enough said with that too!

I never had a wedding nightmare until after the wedding, when I dreamed that something happend and we were not legaly married, so we had to get married again and we go stranded and couldn't get to our second wedding.

LOL, I had my 1st wedding nightmare recently.
I dreamt that everyone forgot to bring the garden arch (which was okay) but then realized that my BM didn't do any of the flowers. My father was MIA. David showed up in the damn tuxedo shirt he keeps wanting (you know the t-shirt painted like a whole tuxedo) and in khaki shorts! And the worst part is that everyone is just standing around not setting up and not getting dressed.
Yeah, not a great way to begin your day.
Mary, that's too funny about your FH, why is it we always dream about the men wearing the wrong items?

The problem Jaci, is that it is a real possibility with him
But I accept him as is, but if he messes up my... I mean OUR day :hammer:

Man, I'm in trouble - one of Jer's ex's is one of my BM's :laugh3: Thankfully we're all still friends and no hard feelings though!
And well, I just hope none of the rest of them show up :ohreally:

The funny thing is that his ex wives and I are great friends. It is the girl friend before me that is psycho!
Wow, we are not that good of friends for them to be in my wedding though. Good for you!!!

I had a good one last night actually!
My FSIL (a BM) told me 2 days before the wedding that she couldn't be in the wedding and couldn't come at all. She said that after speaking with a shrink, therepist, her doctor, etc that they all agreed that it would be in her best interest of she didn't come. Her DH had to tell me while she was standing right beside me not looking at me. WTF? And boy was I pissed. She had known for a few months and decided to tell me 2 days before.
Weird because she is totally sound.
Jennifer, have you called her to tell her about the dream yet? I bet she'd get a big kick out of it!

No I haven't told her yet. I'll see her at work tomorrow and I will tell her then.
She is going to think that is so funny!

OK, I had another one this morning, That can't be good!
My sister and I were picking up my dress after it was altered. I saw a dress hanging there and I thought is looked my mine at first but then I saw all this colour had been added. Then she proceeds to get it and I am horrified! She had added gawdy sleeves (my dress was sleeveless) and along the waist seam at the back she had added a row of garish feathers! All were a different colour and were hanging from the waist by a matching coloured chain! It was awful! I had realized that I had forgotten my shoes and hoop skirt to try on with it. While my sister went home to get them, I am trying to figure out a way to tell her I don't like it!
I woke up just before I was going to try it on.
oh man jennifer, that is a doozy! I can just picture the dress, and it's bad...

Oh yeah, it was bad! I tried to go back to sleep so I could try it on but my dog had other ideas. ;)
I had a dream many months ago that it was my wedding day and I still hadn't found a dress. I was in a panic shopping while all the guests were in the church waiting. I hate when dreams feel so real!
